Review El Tenampa - Nampa

The fish tacos I ordered were good. But there was a problem with the cash register and my order wasn't put in for awhile it was almost an hour for 3 tacos. The waitress was nice and kept apologizing. When I got my food I guess I figured I would've gotten a dessert or something for the long almost an hour wait for 3 tacos. I did tip good too. when I was pulling out of the parking lot the waitress ran out the jalapenos I ordered so not really the best experience. I'm not really sure I'll go back here

El Tenampa is a gem of a Mexican Restaurant! Upon walking in one is enamored by the array of culture, colors & artwork! Very soothing Spanish sounding music at an enjoyable volume. The food is great! The margaritas even better (; I highly recommend!!!

I ordered from Uber eats, I know it wouldn't be the best they had to offer, but I thought it wouldn't be as bad as it was. The food i got was very cold, not as if it was cooled down, but it felt like it was taken directly out of a fridge, and the quality wasn't much better. The beans and the salsa were both fairly flavorless and watery, the steak was past well- done and was awfully stringy. My food was also in a pool of grease. I didn't order in person, so take this with a grain of salt.

This is one of my top places to come and eat some authentic Mexican food! They have amazing servers here as well our server Luis was really friendly and happy to take care of us. Highly recommend!!!

I've been to El Tenampa Meridian location several times and I'd have to give it a 10 star rating. Food and service was top notch. I've even been to the Boise location and would rate it the same. So a couple months later I move to Nampa, knowing there is an El Tennampa their as well, so I called in an order to go. I was told I could pick up my order in 25 min. Alittle long then usual, but ok, its cool they are busy. After all it is Valentines day, no worries. 1hour and 15 min later I arrive back home with my order of the usual # 2 combo, a taco and 2 chicken enchiladas. Stone cold, beans were runny like water, what appeared to be a half a scoop of rice (my fav), The taco was so moist from all the other sauces that I couldn't eat it. Then there's the Enchiladas.. Very dry, very little sauce, and tasted like reheated canned chicken, with added seasoning to mask the can chicken flavor. I ordered extra salsa and got 1 half empty little tub. I dont usually write reviews, but this time I felt I had to. The only reason I give it a 2 star rating is because it was Valentines day and they were very busy. But then again is that really an excuse for such poor quality service and food? There are a couple very good Mexican restaurants just down the road from this place, maybe I'll try them.

I ordered from El Tenampa on Uber Eats, and I was disappointed to say the least. I ordered the 3 crispy tacos, and when we got the food the beans were not only cold as ice, but runny and flavorless too. The rice, as disappointed as I am to say this, was the best part of the meal. As for the tacos, I asked for no tomatoes or cheese, yet I got it anyways. Plus, the tacos were not crispy, but instead soggy and resembled corn paste more than they did tortillas. If you are ordering on Uber, I would steer clear from this place for sure. However, I do not know how it is when you dine in.

I'm a delivery driver, so I was picking up a delivery order. Though, I have eaten there a few times. My sister has been going there 4 several years, it's her favorite place 4 mexican food. I've lived here 4 6yrs now n that was the 1st restaurant she introduced me 2. The staff are very nice. The restaurant inside is large, the decor is lovely n has a bar in a room separate from the dining area.
