Review Texas Roadhouse - Nampa

Really disappointed in my visit yesterday. This was my first visit since the pandemic. I was looking forward to one of there delicious country fried sirloin. Imagine my dismay when this is what was brought to the table. Instead of the golden brown crispy fried chicken breading I was expecting. I asked our server if they had changed the recipe or if they were doing something different? She assured me they had not. The steak not only looked different, it tasted different. On the plus side we had an amazing server. they also open at 3:00 p.m. now instead of 4:00 p.m.

My wife and I had our anniversary dinner here and it was amazing! Food was the best I've had for a steak house. The service was wonderful and the manager heard that it was our first time so he came to our table to welcome us. He brought samples of side dishes for us to try. This was the first time I've had this happen. Wonderful experience and I highly recommend the Texas Roadhouse!

Party of 4 on a Tuesday night. Two Chicken Salads, big and tasty. Chicken Fried steak with gravy, also pretty good. Full rack of ribs was not the best I've had. Dry and not too flavorful. Sweet potato and green beans both really good. Really friendly server, but took forever to get our food. Note for those that have not been here, it is an extremely loud environment.

Pre-pandemic I actually really enjoyed the atmosphere and food at Texas Road House. However, going back today (2/3/21) this experience was really bad. Today our waitress was clearly overworked and tired, which happens no big deal, the biggest problem was the food, the food definitely took a hit on quality of ingredients, this is not the great taste I once remembered. The appetizers were cold, the potato skin sliders were pure salt, truly tasted like the ocean lol. Next was the entree, burger was actually decent the guy placed the bacon poorly but still had flavor, unfortunately the fries also tasted like the ocean, I tried scraping the seasoning off if you look at some of the ends of the fries to try and eat them but after a couple bites, it tasted just as salty as the potato skins from the appetizer. Overall It seems the restaurant current state has a lot of challenges to overcome from COVID, best to start with quality of ingredients.

Service was good. Not as impressed with the food. My sirloin steak was tough. Husband got a Porterhouse steak and it was tough. Found a hair on my plate and asked for a new plate of food and received same food on a different plate two minutes later. Mango Margarita was great and great atmosphere..too bad the integrity of food service.

We love Texas Roadhouse. The service is always great and food too! It's very family friendly as well. Our time there was busy but we got everything in a reasonable timing. Definitely coming back again.

Always friendly and great staff! Beer is always cold, steaks cooked to how you like! My Husband and I love coming, we do wish there was one more in south of Nampa.

Great like usual. Bone in rib eye loaded mashed potatoes ceaser salad and their rolls with the bomb butter cinnamon mix.. so good 👍

We had our Easter meal here today and it was awesome. Our server, Kendra, was amazing and super attentive. She made sure we had enough of everything and was always there to replenish it at just the right time. The food was amazing and my steak was cooked perfectly. Thanks for making our Easter meal so great!

The environment here is one of happiness, the employees seem to be enjoying their job, the food is great, and the prices reasonable, depending on the day, the time and party size you may have to wait up to 45 minutes to get a table, time well worth waiting, come happy come hungry and you’ll have a grate time wile having a great meal� also an excellent place for birthday dinners �

Love this place .excellent food.excellent service. But Oct.8th.2017.my 52.birthday dinner.the food excellent.service sucked.never got extra gravy.no to keep asking for refills. Cold coffee.we will go back.but make dam sure different server

Well I ordered the pulled pork dinner... mixed in with the pulled was a big piece of chicken. Waitress had manager come over to my table. Manager was very rude, didn't apologize for the mistake. Took my tray and says I'll get you some more pulled pork. No apologies at all... very poor actions of the "Manager" .. this was my favorite place to eat. But now I'm reluctant to go back "as is the food you order, really what it says??? "

First of all the server was excellent. She was attentive and timely. To be fair,we did not complain about our steaks when we could/should have, so ultimately we bear the blame for not sending the steaks back-we just didn't want to have the uncomfortable dinner experience which would have followed. With all that said, we received the saltiest ribeye steaks we've ever tasted. It was as if the chef had spilled an entire salt shaker onto our meat, and then tried to brush it off. They were so salty, we couldn't even taste the meat. We forced it down, but needless to say, are very disappointed. I did mention the saltiness to the server, as a suggestion to the chef, and left a brief note about it on our bill. Good steak does not need much seasoning; that can be adjusted to taste by the diner.

Me and the wife just had our anniversary dinner. Kendra was our server and she was the absolute best!!!! Loved her and the food. Thanks

The waitress was very unprofessional. She came to our table and complained about another guest and how rude he was. All 3 of our prime ribs were VERY over done. 2 of us sent them back and the 2nd set was over done as well. We didn't get refills during our meal. And when we asked for the manager, we explained why we're were upset and she literally did nothing. Pretty much said sorry, better luck next time. We go to your restaurant a lot, but maybe it's time to find a new place to go. I've never been so disappointed.

Great service and really good food! I had the salmon... it was very tasty! My BFF had a rib eye, and it was cooked perfectly and was very tasty too!

Always a good experience and good food. The staff can fluctuate here and there, but that is to be expected in the restaurant business. Though people can have bad days, they seem to be really good at hiring people that are happy to be there, which is no easy feat. Will go back again and again

Fabulous food. Great menu choice. Friendly helpful Staff. We are visiting from England and enjoyed our meals here.

Always good food & service. Music is usually too loud but that’s the only downside.

Don't try and order the veg plate. $1.50 worth of food for $10.00
