I can't say enough good things about Barkeeps. My only regret is eating too many appetizers and not being able to finish my entree.
The owners are so sweet! They speak to you like their family and told us the story about how they came to build the place and the menu. They are also very gluten free friendly.
If you're looking for Asian Cuisine - just come here. They wipe every other Asian restaurant here out of the water. I'm so impressed at all the flavors.
I'm just upset I haven't visited this place sooner. I assumed they geared to college kids for some reason. But, there's a lively bar atmosphere that's great if you want to dine alone but not FEEL alone. Then the dining room is open and quiet if you want to bring your family.
The curry is a must try on the food side. The blushing geisha is a must try on the drink side! (Just be careful, it's a sneaky drink that doesn't taste like alcohol.) It's made of coconut sake so it's nice and different.
However, I will be back for the steak!

We visited last night and I was very impressed. We were there for celebrating my brother-in-law’s life after attending his viewing and saying goodbye. It was rough and when we got there we had vastly underestimated how many people would attend. The restaurant could have turned us away, but instead they accommodated us with grace and patience. The food was good and the service was excellent. Thank you for giving us a place to celebrate the life of a generous and loving man.

Came here upon Google's suggestion for Asian food. However, I didn't realize that this Asian fusion.
My husband and I both ordered pork ramen. It's more like a BBQ pork soup with noodles and veggies. Tasted good, just wasn't what I was hoping for. The egg included in the ramen wasn't cooked through.
On the plus side, we ordered the Nashville hot wings as an appetizer and that was delicious! Also, our waitress, Nicole, was very friendly and helpful.

Normally when I come here (which is about maybe once every few months) I have a pleasant experience. Tonight was not what I normally experience here. The customer service was okay but I ordered what I always order, the keeps burger no special sauce pepperjack cheese no veggies with fries. I have never received a burger from this establishment where it was pink in the middle. The bun was so soggy on the bottom as well. I didn't even get upset about that. I simply asked the waitress if I could have a toasted bottom bun and she took it to the back and I got a new bottom bun (not toasted) but it was okay. Then I took a bite if my burger and it was good. The next bite I saw pink so then I broke the burger in half and it was completely pink! I was very dissatisfied tonight. The guy didn't charge me for my food because let's face it, I never got to eat!

Wonderful, eclectic, culinary experience! Great beer selection, and there is something for everyone at this restaurant. The paneer fries were a favorite as were the samosas! Will definitely frequent this place!

Barkeeps brings flavor and top notch cuisine at a relatively affordable price. Absolutely love their food. Best restaurant in Nacogdoches.

I love this place but i was really dissatisfied today. My wife and I got a table but waited so long for a server we ended up just going to the bar. The bartender was nice but MIA a lot. Couldn't get the order right. She took forever to take care of us and our friends. One thing I noticed is all the employees are dressed in street clothes or sweat pants so it was hard figuring out who was working and who was a patron. The food was great as always but the service dropped the ball today.

Wow this place really hit the spot. Especially liked the lettuce wraps - the heat is just right and the sauces hit all the right notes. Egg rolls were surprisingly good too. This place is a repeat next time I'm passing through.
