Last year I visited Mystic for an extended weekend to celebrate a friend’s birthday and came across Bravo Bravo (or Bravo ovarB as one sign said). After trying the food there it became obvious how appropriate the name was. We tried a variety of apps, entrees, desserts and drinks and were not disappointed in any aspect. My friend ordered the Paloma and instantly became a fan! In fact, she ordered 3 of them that night. I opted for the seasonal Blueberry Thyme fizz cocktail which was a drink with complexity where the experience at the beginning was different from the finish. Some of the memorable dishes were the burrata app, the whipped goat cheese app and the special entree of a short rib and fried egg on top of a bed of Israeli couscous. I liked the way the spices were used to enhance the natural flavors here while adding accents of their own. Looking forward to having another meal here next time I’m in Mystic.

Sophisticated design, soft ambience, merry clientele, fine food and central location with a view of the bridge. Waiting for the event to start, we ordered calamari off of the Happy Hour menu and arancini from the Specials menu. Both good. Everything at our table from the event menu was top notch. The baby red and green leaf salad starter with Gorgonzola dressed with balsamic vinaigrette, one order of Gnocchi with sausage ragu and parmesan reggiano, a second of seared scallops on porcini mushroom risotto and baby spinach, and a third dish with grilled salmon with lentils, baby spinach and mustard sauce were all fine cuisine superbly cooked.

Great late dinner at Bravo Bravo! Amazing Mushroom Bruschetta and Butternut Squash Ravioli with Duck. Wonderful drinks too, we tried the Painkiller and the Whiskey Sage Smash. Great service, nice atmosphere, we will be back!

Stopped here for lunch this summer. The bread service was cute and the salmon was perfectly cooked. Service was excellent and the dining room was amazing with the walls open to the sea breeze

Always delicious!! Limited St. Patrick's Day menu for parade day, fish & chips and short rib stew were both excellent!

The best place in Mystic!! They seated us without a reservation at 6pm on a Saturday night. The hostesses are so sweet and accommodating! Very happening place, loud music, amazing outdoors space to dine and people watch. The meals are quite creative and tasty. Loved the tuna tartare and eggplant app. Homemade pastas were good. Didn’t like the ravioli with crab. Overall, if you’re looking for a hip place in this old town, Bravo Bravo is the one!
