1/2 Upscale and 1/2 semi casual hotel. I love the spacious, cruise like feel of the hotel. The elevators work quickly. And I love the little ice cream shop and Starbucks. The Starbucks is a little pricey but they do have coffe makers in each room. The rooms are nice and clean. And the beds are very clean and comfy. The carpets in the rooms are new. And there are mini fridges in then. Only the Starbucks have a microwave that is accessible. But I have no complaints. The pool area and fitness center are also very spacious. But I didn't use them. I did eat breakfast and dinner at the resteraunt. It was a little pricey but at least it was open at very conventional hours. The cleaning crew is amazing. They will clean and top off your room for you during your stay. I will like to stay there again, especially if I am at the convention center which is attached to the hotel.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel, I went to celebrate the weekend of my 60th birthday and it was so relaxing. The front desk personnel was friendly and they didn’t take very long to get me taken care of. The food, the drinks and the premises was also great. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Also I didn’t have to drive far for any fun and excitement. Can’t wait to visit again.

We had a horrible experience with Timeshare and had to find another hotel at 3am. The front desk agent was extremely helpfully and booked us a room to accommodate our immediate needs!

Beautiful, beautiful hotel. Awesome location from the beach with a wonderful view. Check in was a breeze, Matt was super helpful and informative. Room was clean and beds were super comfy. Food from the restaurant was phenomenal. Last but not least our bartender Bea was such a lovely lady to have encountered. If you visit this hotel definitely stop by for a drink and a chat with this beautiful soul. Definitely recommend staying and would stay again.

I can’t say enough of the customer service provided by Stephanie at the Concierge Desk and Brenda our housekeeper. They both were exceptional making our stay fantastic. Clean room, wonderful Southern hospitality and a great location within walking distance to the beach. We had dinner at Vidalia’s one night and our salmon was perfect service was a bit slow but our waitress (I’m so sorry I didn’t get her name) was very kind and apologized for the delay which was not a big deal we are on vacation no rush, we order some drinks and everything was fine. We definitely will be returning to this location next time we need a break to enjoy the beach and true Marriott hospitality. Thank you Stephanie and Brenda you both made our trip be an amazing one.

Comfortable stay. It's walking distance to the beach, restaurants and several activities. The beds weren't that comfortable. They were extremely soft, but overall, it was a great experience.

The hotel is great. I enjoy the top quality of the the product but sometimes quality gets lost as it pertains to simple things like free coffee in the morning. Expect long lines at the only coffee shop in this hotel. Rooms are amazing, exercise room is mediocre, indoor swimming pool is ok for kids but tanning outside and watching the kids in the indoor pool will be an issue. The restaurant, Vidalia’s, is great but expensive. A plate of 8 wings cost $17. So bring your wallet.
