Riptydz Oceanfront Grille & Rooftop Bar

First time to Myrtle Beach and we decided to check out Riptydz rooftop bar. What made it even more fantastic besides the location was the wait staff. We were fortunate enough to get Stephanie. Fantastic service, fun personality and excellent food! We will be coming back for sure! Who wouldn't with this view and proximity to all the cool things here in Myrtle Beach.

Great atmosphere!!!! Great service!!!! Would go back! The fried pickles appetizer was soooo good!!! Then we got a Mediterranean salad that was great and also I got chicken tacos, they forgot the avocado and sauce for the tacos and there was hardly any chicken! The drinks were VERY good!!! Would go back for the drinks, everyone was super nice! Food wasn’t 5 star though…

I highly recommend this place, we go as often as we can. Great food, great service and awesome place to be.. The servers here definitely make you feel welcome, Gianna made our night the last time we were there, service with a smile and knew all the specials. Job well done. The food here is always fresh and well cooked, unlike other places we have tried. Being right on the beach just topped off the whole experience. Will be back soon.

Wow! This place was great! The valet guy was excellent! He was so friendly and thoughtful! He let is know that the valet service is free but that they appreciate gratuity. Our waiter, Donny, was excellent as well. He was very attentive and friendly. The food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious! We even loved the music they had playing! It made it feel fun! Next time we’re in Myrtle Beach, we’ll definitely eat there again!

Loved this place! Amazing views from the rooftop — we made so many pics and videos. It is a beautiful spot and I enjoyed every second of being there looking at the ocean. The food was 5 out of 5, all the meals were super tasty and the pricing was very reasonable. For 1 entree two main courses and sodas, we paid $62 which is not bad at all for such a location. We’ve been there at lunchtime with no people. The only detail is that the parking is valet only.

My partner and I ate here for the first time on our vacation this evening and I have to say I am thoroughly impressed with this place from parking the car to leaving…. We were greeted by a gentleman at parking lot to park our car… mind you we had never ate somewhere with valet parking so that was nice…. You get to choose what level you want to be seated on which we chose rooftop to overlook the ocean… was an incredible view especially looking south at the sunset… our waitress was so kind and did an amazing job getting refills and our order… as we are new we needed some time to look over the menu and she was very patient…the food was absolutely incredible and was the best meal we have had during our vacation….then when we were leaving we were able to click the link texted to us and our car was ready when we got back down to parking lot…. If I could give this place 100 stars I would!!! Thank you for the amazing service, food, and view!

Fantastic drinks, great service, good food… what’s not to like? Our bachelorette group stopped in for dinner and drinks and were not disappointed. When we first came in we were told it would be a 25 minute wait, but were very pleasantly surprised when we were seated in closer to 10 minutes. Our waiter was FANTASTIC and took the time to run through the drink menu with us, giving recommendations and advice. The drink menu is huge, so our group LOVED that touch and it helped us decide what to order! We got the half gallons and while they were super tasty, they were a lottt to handle. Super sugary (which is nice to mask the alcohol, but weighs you down after a bit). If you’re not a heavy drinker or can’t handle sugar, stick to the smaller drinks. Food was good - everyone got some kind of seafood and while it was nothing special or outstanding, it was very good and met expectations for all dishes. Biggest note was that the old bay (Chesapeake) fries could have used more seasoning. We weren’t able to take advantage of the rooftop or outdoor space by the boardwalk due to rain, but it looked like a great spot to hang out and really spend some time. Def worth a visit! Point of improvement: 2/4 stalls in the women’s restroom were out of order, and 1 didn’t lock, leaving only 1 functioning stall for a very large restaurant! Made for a very chaotic experience using the bathroom.

Outstanding customer service. I loved the arugula salad and the coconut shrimp. My friend loved the Mac and cheese. As far as the baked oyster, not so much, as it did not taste fresh (maybe it was just that night). I'd say check this place out. It is a great option for late night dinner option, and the view is just amazing.
