For a lunch, we went to Co Sushi at Market Commons. For the same day dinner, we went to King Kong Sushi. King Kong Sushi is five times better than Co Sushi. King Kong Sushi excels on every aspect including sushi quality, customer service, table arrangement, swiftness on orders. Additionally, thank y
Lauren was an amazing waitress, and Darren (manager) was a wonderful greeter. The atmosphere was positive and we felt welcome. The food and service were great! My daughter and I enjoyed ourselves. We will return.
Today we had lunch at King Kong. The place was half full, service was good, but unexpectedly slow. Food was good! Rainbow roll, Eel roll, spicy Cali roll, etc… we also really enjoyed the ginger dressing on our salad. We were with a party and over all just a couple order mix ups.

The staff is great, as usual! The Manager, Darren was super friendly and super accommodating with my child. Our waitress, Alicia was awesome, fast, and personable. The new place is very open and clean. My only complaint is some of the lunch specials and items didn’t make it to the new menu. The Poke
Hopped in the car soon as we found out it reopened and moved a couple buildings down. First off the new building is much bigger and very open with majority high top tables and some booths on the side. The sushi was amazing! Much better then the other location at the boardwalk. Every roll was great,
It was a busy Saturday night but we didn't have a long wait and definitely enjoyed our food here. The sushi was not the best I've ever had in my life but it was good. The soft shell crab was on point, really loved that. The shrimp siu mai was alright. My highlight that evening surprisingly was actua
King Kong Sushi is a wonderful clean restaurant with polite staff a great lunch special. However, I do not advise ordering Togo. Over the phone, the server upsold me on a large hibachi plate. I was hoping to have leftovers for the next day. Unfortunately the $28 large hibachi dinner was a smaller po
Dinner for two special, 2 soups, 2 salads, 1 appetizer, 4 sushi rolls ~ 60$. Amazing food and great service!
I have been to both locations. They are owned by the same people but have different management. I highly recommend the Carolina Forest location. The food there, service, and management is outstanding. The King Kong at Broadway at the Beach is not as good. The food and service is more like you recei
This place is fantastic! I love the food and the service is great. My wife loves the Sakai. I like the high top tables and the bar service is always very good! I highly recommended for locals and especially for tourists if you are looking for a unique local experience.
New Location for King Kong Sushi. Just four stores over from where they were in Carolina Forest. Seating now for over 200
Only 4 stars because there are a lot of sushi items they don't serve. You can't compare them to NY, Boston, LA or San Francisco Sushi, but they're way above average for South Car
We went to King Kong and were lucky enough to have Ireland as our waitress. Ireland did an awesome job and made sure our drinks were always topped off and that we had everything we needed at all times. The sushi was awesome as always!
Lauren made our night so special. She made great recommendations and was so kind and attentive. The food was amazing too. Thank you!
Best sushi I’ve had in years! Ally was a GREAT server and was always available and checking in on us to make sure we had anything that we could possibly need. The service was very fast and the orders were spot on, even when we made specific requests. We will be eating here anytime we are near Myrtl
They have a 2 person deal where you get an appetizer, salad, and rolls together. It was amazing! Their ginger salad was a bit lacking, but the rolls were really good.
Best sushi restaurant ever!
Very fresh food, relaxing atmosphere and a wonderful staff.
What really makes it fantastic is “Jaden”. He is not just a good server but the nicest, funniest and most sincere person you’ll ever meet. He makes your visit totally enjoyable and worth coming for.

Went to Carolina Forest location for the first time since the move to see if they have thought better of getting rid of two of my favorite rolls, Hurricane and Duke. Unfortunately they have not. I used to place a $100 to go order once a week before they moved end of 2022. When Carolina Forest reopen
