Friendly staff, beautiful weather and scenery and the drinks were good. We stopped in for a quick drink and to check the place out. It's weird that they charge to go on the pier ($1) but I think that's only if you don't buy anything bc when we got our drinks they asked if we were taking them outsid
There is some free parking right out front if you can find a spot. It cost $2.00 to walk on the pier and $12.00 to fish. It wasn’t too crowded for a Saturday evening. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and there were some beautiful photo opportunities. The wicked tuna restaurant is also there. W
Stopped here before heading back to Kentucky. Loved the walk and the view while on the pier. There were a lot of people fishing that day and some were catching fishes. Hoping to come back to this place and do some fishing also.
You pay 2$ to go on it and the ticket is good for all day long. You usually see people fishing at this spot. Sinks available for them .
Beautiful to visit and take pictures of the vast ocean and coast. ( no restrooms available to the public)
You have to pay $2.00 per person to go up and get on the pier. It is not handicap accessible that I could see. Beautiful views! Lots of fishing 🐟 from the pier! It's attached to a restaurant! Parking is also $2.00 per hour or $15.00 for the day, and it's worth it if you are going to walk the
Small, old but rebuild pier. Peaceful place. You will find many people fishing here and also catching fish pretty fast.
Some info-

No public restrooms
Elevator available.
There is restaurant/bar on 3rd floor.
I'm a single mom with a 5 year old that loves to fish. We came with nothing because online fatuous they have everything you need... and they did! The guy gave us our pole already rigged up and a bucket of bait then told us where to go, what to do, and how to do it. My son caught a Spot and a Pigfish
The pier always has a nice breeze blowing.
You can walk out over the ocean and look over the side to see fish hanging out.
You can pay to fish which allows you to do so without buying a fishing license. They have pole rentals and accessories.
There is a good restaurant at the pier called The wicked
Great pier for fishing, $2 to walk, $12 to fish. Bait, soda, water, etc available at store. Went on morning and night caught nothing on the morning and caught fish one after the other at night, lots of Atlantic Spade fish and croakers.
Love the Pier. Its nice to walk out and enjoy the view and see all the marine life swimming around the Pier
Enjoyed a Friday mid day just enjoying the sunshine with a friend. This time of year it I'd really quite and peaceful. The quite before the spring breakers shoew up and the craziness seasons begin. I love living here, I wouldn't change a thing...
Nice pier, lots of fishermen. The kids had fun. We saw a stingray and a shark in the water.
It cost $2 per person to walk on the pier. The view is so beautiful! The end of the pier is now closed off due to collapse. However, I could spend all evening there just watching the waves. It was so peaceful!
Traffic was bad, limited parking if you don't get there early but I can say police didn't bother all the "illegally parked" cars during the actual show so that was 👍 really nothing else but good stuff to say the show was 22 minutes long!!!! And the best finale in all my 30 years living in Myrtle Bea
I love going to the Pier in Myrtle Beach. I don't go to fish (which you can do from the Pier), I just go to enjoy the view while walking on the Pier, looking over the rail down at the ocean and taking pictures. There are multiple Piers in Myrtle Beach, but 2nd Ave is my go-to. The guys that run the
The pier and the guys that work there have been an integral part of Myrtle Beach fishing since I can remember. The guys that work there are very knowledgeable and very helpful if you don't have any or minimal experience fishing. They also rent rods and they sell bait and snacks and such. It costs
Service a bit slow, but food and drinks were good.
Cost 2 bucks to walk the pier now.. Not right for families.. Smh.. Just saying....
This pier is one you will not want to miss. Be sure to eat at Wicked Tuna as it serves great seafood. Then enjoy the day on the pier or at the beach.
Perfect fishing spot. You can buy bait there. Everyone was helpful and friendly.
