I love the restaurant, it's a must every visit. Relaxed atmosphere on a lake and the best scallops I've had at Myrtle Beach. The muffins are so good! Service is always excellent. At peak season I suggest a reservation.

What's not to like about being on vacation. I've come to expect lower quality food while traveling. Chestnut Hill agrees with me. Not bad food, just not good. It's a nice convenient location overlooking a marsh/creek. Watch that first step, it's split level. Service was pleasant, informative and accurate. Of the 6 person group, only 1 was sold and wants to return to give this long standing venue another chance.

On the last night of our conference, my colleagues and I went to Chestnut Hill for dinner. The restaurant is right on a pond and I saw an alligator swim by. I was in the mood for seafood, so I ordered the Mixed Grill. It is a combination of the fresh catch of the day, scallops, and local shrimp. It was ok. We had a large party and our server was very friendly and provided great service. The Chestnut Hill is a nice restaurant if you are visiting Myrtle Beach.

My husband and I went here over the weekend when we stayed in Myrtle Beach. We look forward to eating here whenever we come. They were very accommodating as we just walked in but our business meant a lot to them and we felt very welcome which you don’t get at most restaurants in Myrtle Beach. Most restaurants act is if they could care less whether you eat there or not. We always get five star service when we come here. The restaurant is always clean, you are always greeted with a smile and warmth, the waiter/waitress is always prompt and Attentive, and the food is ALWAYS outstanding!! I got the lobster tails and they were definitely worth the money! My husband got scallops and they were outstanding too! We are seriously considering driving from Charlotte to Myrtle Beach to eat dinner and then driving home because yes it is that good!! We will always eat here every time we come!

Beautiful dining room with huge windows right on the pond. Food was excellent. Super fresh seafood. Often offering dishes in smaller portions for lesser price. Service from our waiter Connor was EXCEPTIONAL! Probably the best service I've received in a restaurant this year.

Outstanding food service. Shrimp and grits were so good with brown gravy, filet medallions with crab cakes were absolutely delicious. Old fashioned and pineapple martini were well poured. In 42 years of visits to Myrtle Beach, Chestnut Hill is our favorite restaurant on the beach.

The atmosphere was a nice blend of casual and classy. Great view of a pond with its wildlife. The waiter was especially attentive. Had the king crab legs, which were a little pricey but were huge and delicious. What topped it off is their to-go container for the delicious banana pudding was a small Mason jar. That was so unique!

Went to Chestnut Hill Restaurant tonight for dinner. The service was quick and very friendly. The food was excellent. The meal coming with cheesy biscuits and mini blueberry muffins was incredible. Meal also came a super salad, it had great toppings and many homemade dressing options. 6/5 stars definitely.
