This was a perfect breakfast experience. So good we went two days in a row. We had a short wait the first time but our food came out fast!!! I love the Autism inclusion and the fact that they are proud of that. I have a 6 year old autistic child and I am a huge advocate for and work professionally with this population. Wonderful and professional service and the menu is amazing!
Johnny D’s is not just another typical pancake house in Myrtle Beach. There was a wait to get in but the staff moved guests through quickly and efficiently. The food was absolutely worth the wait. I got the Lox Benedict and my husband got the pork belly Benedict. Both were fantastic! The eggs were perfectly poached and the grits were the best we’ve ever had!
I got the red velvet waffle and my boyfriend got the Banana split waffle. They were both AMAZING. It’s a little pricey but very worth it for how great the food was!! My only wish that I would have changed is having my server come to our table a little more often.

We were sat down pretty quickly, pretty big menu! Sooo many good options! Took us a while to decide!
Brisket breakfast bowl- very good, cornbread had good flavor but was dry, wanted to keep eating but ran out of stomach! Lol
Red velvet waffle- ordered it topped with vanilla ice cream. YUM😋! Not overly sweet and not dry or mushy, it didn't even need syrup!
Waffle platter- waffle, eggs and bacon. Simple, but once again they enjoyed the meal so much he wanted to eat it all but had no more tummy room. This guy is a picky eater and it's rare he's like that! That meal put him to sleep! That's how you know it's good!
Steak Benedict- so I usually hate hollandaise sauce from restaurants, and I usually always order it on the side because it's usually nasty. This is the second best hollandaise I've had at a restaurant! The steak was seasoned well and pretty tender for that cut, and cooked medium👌! Potatoes were ordered in place of grits. I had high hopes for those but they came out dry and crunchy, not crispy.
Honestly, best food we've had the entire time in Myrtle Beach! Orange juice was also ordered and it contains pulp, we loved it and it tasted fresh. More tart than sweet, but still pretty tasty! All the staff we encountered were nice and polite. Place is bright and clean and kinda loud, but we would definitely return. Solid 4.5.
Good food and lots of options! Good vegetarian options and something for everyone. Cute brunch atmosphere too! It is super loud, we had to tell to hear across the table so def not the place for meaningful conversation, more of a fun place than quant place. Not a lot of parking, we had to park across the street.
Great food, large serving sizes for the prices especially for the omelets and benedicts. Warm service and the owner greeted the customers at every table. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice brunch before a big day on the beach!
If you don’t eat anywhere else while in Myrtle Beach, you gotta go here! Food is fresh and delicious! The brisket burger was amazing. The red velvet waffle is a must!
The breakfast we had in all of the Myrtle Beach during our stay here. The Brisket Skillet was so good and had so many good flavors mixed in. The pickled Jalapeños we such a good addition. All of the waffle options were great, the pancakes were good, and the service was fast. The best part about this breakfast was that it was extremely affordable and you left filled to the gills. Awesome job!
We loved everything about this restaurant. Bottomless choices of perfect breakfast and brunch options, very attentive service, warm and welcoming atmosphere, making you want to come back

10 out of 10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND.... Chef Jamie Daskalis has put together what should be the bar for a great restaurant. Super friendly and accommodating staff and outstanding delicious food. I would move to Myrtle Beach just so I can eat here on a regular basis. Lol
The only thing I wasn't super ecstatic about was my drink. I had a cappuccino & my lady had an Irish coffee. I'm a bit of a coffee/ expresso snub & the cappuccino didn't really give what it should have. I liked the Irish coffee more. I might've played myself ordering those drinks cause I didn't see anyone else getting those types of drinks. I'll probably pass next time.
The food was ridiculously good! The menu has a lot to choose from so after studying the menu I went with the crab cake benedict & my lady choose that delicious award winning red velvet waffle. SOOOOOOOOO DAMMMM GOOD. No complaints. Maybe a just a tab bit more potatoes.
Until I'm able to visit again I will dream & fantasize about this food. Absolutely loved it shout out to Chef Jamie & her staff for really doing their thing.
This place was so good that we ate here both mornings that we were in Myrtle. They have a great selection of both hearty and sweet breakfast items to delight your tastebuds for whatever you’re in the mood for. On this particular day, I couldn’t decide, so I ordered both a meat and cheese omelette and the banana split waffle. Both were delicious! Honestly, I could probably eat that waffle every day, it was so good. The servers both days were great, especially Brandi. They’re reasonably priced and have options for alternative diets. I’d recommend this place for everyone. If I’m ever back in town, I will definitely eat here again.

The experience, food, and service were extremely good! Also the staff was very friendly and pleasant.
I have to give the restaurants team credit on their attention to detail.....
- Their menus are easy reads, organized with plenty of photos, and provided the history of their restaurants in all locations across the USA
-The hostess/manager was pleasant/friendly even though she was visibly busy
-the seating and restaurant space was ideal
-every waitress that came in contact with us had a pleasant attitude, greeted us, and thanked us for coming
- The restaurant was clean, including the bathrooms, and even witnessed the manager sweeping throughout the restaurant
-The food service was fast, hot, and fresh.... After ordering it came to our table within 15 min... Our waitress Chloe was great!
- Quality food and ingredients. I'd say my favorite restaurant so far here in Myrtle Beach. These aren't your typical chain or restaurant Waffles, pancakes, etc. The effort to provide quality food is much appreciated... We'll be back
-Salt and pepper shakers were the quality grinder's, ketchup and other sauces at the table, utensils were wrapped in a protected paper, napkins were readily available in a table dispenser
-The pricing provided fair value and portion sizes were great

This place is awesome for breakfast. And they are very organized checking guests in when at their very busy moments. The staff is excellent! Our servers have always been great. Our last server Alaina was no exception. Thank you for your customer appreciation.

Just nothing much to say. Me and the family went for breakfast and Everything is top notch awesomely DELICIOUS.
Me and my hubby got checked in at 10:47 on a Sunday morning , the hostess stand was professional and friendly though she quoted us 30 minute wait, actually sat down at 11:53 am.
It appeared the larger parties were getting in quicker( just an observation).
Waitress was also friendly & attentive!
Our food came out quickly, and on point!
This MB hot spot made me feel like I was back in Charleston!

Words can not describe on how delicious this place is. I ended up getting the red velvet waffle. It was moist and rich. The sweetness was just right. I ended up getting two t shirt also they have a cool waffle on the back. The parking lot was packed when we got there and it was a 30 min wait but it was worth it. They do have another parking lot across the street as well the staff was friendly as well

We always have breakfast here at least one time during every trip to MB. My only complaint is that if you ask for eggs with cheese, they just put a slice of cheese on top of the eggs instead of mixing it in. The breakfast is good and reasonably priced.
