Delicious lunch spot. My wife and I had the Katsudon and loved every bite. The plaza where it's located is very attractive and easy to get around in. The take out service was super fast and easy. The pork was flavorful and not dry at all. We'll be back when we are passing through Myrtle Beach, that'
Cozy Japanese restaurant, serving authentic Japanese food. Great service. Welcoming atmosphere. Our entrees were delicious! Including Katsu and Tempura bowls, Kyushu Tonkotsu Ramen. The Yakiniku was delicious but much more spicy than I have had in Japan. I recommend asking the cook to tone the spice
Absolutely amazing. The best Japanese family restaurant I’ve been to in the states. Highly recommend if you want casual family Japanese dishes. They have some Korean dishes as well.
Got here a few mins after 2 and they close at 2:30pm. We shared a tempura appetizer and then had a nabeyaki udon, tonkatsu ramen and karaage bento. Very satisfying. The udon was very good along with the soup. So was the chicken. Great service. 8

The ramen was really great. The noodles tasted fresh and the pork was really delicious. We also had the takoyaki but it wasnt the best. I remember the takoyaki in Japan being bigger and more round and crispy on the outside. The flavors were still ok. My boyfriend had the bibimbap and said it was al
Myrtle Beach has a hidden Jem of a restaurant here. We found this little hole in the wall on Yelp and decided to try it. With only Eight tables this restaurant is cozy and personal. The owners were nice and attentive. My wife and I ordered the udon and a Ramen dinner bowl. VERY GOOD!!!!!! We also h
Sobaya is a real hidden gym in Myrtle Beach. Local, family owned, and some of the best Ramen around. If you're in the area, do not miss this place. Be prepared, it is a very small place so it fills up fast.
I love this place. I had it again today and brought my girlfriend along and she is obsessed now (she isn't a Ramen/Pho type of girl by the way). Hands down best Ramen in Horry County. It's so hard to stop eating the food that by time I was done I was having trouble breathing.
Great place for vegans. They have plenty of options. Great vegetable tempura and gyoza, not too oily. Wonderful flavors and the staff are very helpful.
Go in! The ambience is so warm and friendly, the hostess/server is incredibly kind, funny, and attentive, and the food! We don’t have enough fantastic ways to describe this place. This is an excellent combination of restaurant meets your grandma or grandpa’s kitchen, who is also a master of ramen
The best Japanese place to visit while in Myrtle Beach!! I will always come by here when I'm in town!
Litter quite and cozy place. The food was amazing and the service is excellent! There were 8 in our party and the food came hot and in a timely manner. I would recommend this place to anyone! And the price was perfect for the amount of food you are served!
This place is amazing , evrything was absolutely fantastic. Hole in the wall off the beaten path kind of place. Seating is very limited when busy but is well worth the wait. We didint have to wait too long it worked out. You can watch the chef prepare your meal while you await your dish and let me t
Korean beef are the real deal, and the bento box is well worth the money, I love this place, small but nice.
Great food, will definitely visit here again.

Lovely little establishment. Very tasty food!
A fine little restaurant, in my experience.
I visited here some years ago, and the memory lingers with me still, such that I felt a review in order. My evening at Sobaya, everything was fantastic: friendly, attentive service; a clean, comfortable, and intimate dining room; and the food -- superb (a
