This was my second visit to Far East. I asked for the lunch special with fried rice, generals chicken and egg roll. I also had two cans of diet coke. I liked the generals chicken a lot better than the cashew chicken I tried on my first visit. Both visits were pretty expensive though for the location, atmosphere, and food. I think my bill was $16.
What can I say about this place? This place is unique! Their Thai is excellent and their Chinese is the best I've ever had. Plus those egg rolls the size of Texas are amazing! There will never be a place like Far East.
Absolutely the best service and DELICIOUS food! 1st time trying and will definitely be going back! If you have not tried this little gem… DO IT! No wonder why this place was voted best Chinese in 2020,2021 and should be this year also!
I can’t wait to go back! Yummmmm
As of July 1st they are under new management. The extra large egg rolls are now normal size. The cream cheese wontons are now crab rangoon. Few changes here and there.
Menu is now more what you'd expect from a small take out place. Some of the items seem to have increased in price.
The staff is different, but they are very friendly. We ordered a few things to try out. The fresh rolls has fresh herbs and were very tasty. They let us try their coconut ice cream. That was excellent. Overall happy with the food and service.
Great service and food at this classic restaurant near mtsu campus. Far east has been around a long time but new owners took over in July and that's a good thing. The new menu departs from the mostly Chinese offerings with a strong emphasis on Thai. I had the red curry, heat number 4 and it had just the right amount of heat intensity of you like it hot. Five is Max. Nothing fancy about the interior, but it is quaint and it's the food and service that will make you come back. Buffet served at lunch
