Review Taco Primo - Munising

This place is Mexican Food heaven. We ordered veg fiesta bowl. The others ordered a variety of other dishes. Tasted supremely divine. Wasn't too bad of a wait. Portion size felt a little less, given we had kayaked for 6-8 miles prior to coming here.

Best Tacos in UP! We walked here after our boat tour of Pictured Rocks (easy 6-8 minutes). Food was hot, fresh, fast and delicious. You order at the counter and they bring you the food. Free chips and salsa. Good vibes on the patio. Super reasonable prices. Highly recommend!!

The food is at Tico Primo is delicious and never disappoints! Chef Fabian and restaurant manager Reyna are dedicated to good customer service, well-trained servers, and authentic mexican food...at a reasonable price. Everyone at this restaurant is very welcoming. There is nothing we tried that we didn't like—their tacos, burritos, quesadillas, salads, and chimichangas—we loved it all! Delicious!! We had a craving for tacos and got lucky to find this great little place! The food was fresh and you could tell it was prepared with love. We had 7 people in our party and everyone was satisfied. The wait wasn't bad and they were fairly busy, took about 15ish minutes or so to get our food. They have vegetarian options which is always an extra bonus in my book!!

We stopped by here after a long day of outdoor activities in pictured rocks ..... It's a very small place with lots of outdoor seating... The tacos and fiesta fries were amazing... Chicken taquitos and Santa Fe Egg roll as well.... Portion sizes were large and delicious food...

Beautiful interiors giving an authentic Mexican feel to the place as we munched our food. The service was pretty quick and portions huge. Being the nearest and best Taco place to Chapel falls after hiking and activities, we loved everything on the menu. The Tacos were crunch and soft. Fish well done, Empanadas really tasty and Nachos really fresh and savored. Outside seating adds to the space and the ambience of the place. A must go if you visit Munsing!

Great service and yummy food! Great vegetarian options too! Good kids meals and they fixed me up with a veggie burrito bowl.

My husband said it was the best tacos that he has ever had! I had a shreaded chicken burrito, which was very good & I could only eat half of it. Staff was very friendly.

I ordered the chimichanga with chicken and it was delicious. Service was great. We were able to sit outside with our dog. Will definitely eat here again when in town

Absolutly LOVE taco primo, it's one place me and my Fiance said we will 100% come back to every visit to Munising! The staff so very friendly and kind. I'm vegan, so normally it's hard to find somewhere that offers dairy free/meat free options , but they have plant based chorizo!!!! SO SOOO delicious, I promise you will not be let down vegan or not!!! Thanks Taco Primo❤

Taco Primo is a must! Amazing food, the place is well cleaned and sanitized, beautiful outdoor balcony to eat on, and the most welcoming and friendly owners. Based on food taste, service, and ambiance, 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!

The food was really good! We had the elote, chimichanga and whitefish tacos. For dessert, we had the friend ice cream. That is the only pic we got because the food was so good!

My boyfriend and I love Taco Primo. Our favorite UP spot! The owner Amie is so kind and courteous. Highly recommend the nachos they are the bomb!!

Amazing food! Chimichanga was delicious, highly recommend the carnitas (pork). Be sure to dine in for some complimentary chips and salsa. Look forward to returning in the summer for whitefish (unfortunately this is out of season in the winter).

Great little taco place with corn tortillas available. Would give 5 stars if they'd had pico di gallo. Ate in the covered outdoor area, which had some beautiful views. Perfect place for a pit stop to refuel the body & rest your feet. Awesome prices & friendly staff, too!

Just passing through Munising around lunchtime made a wrong turn happened to pass by Taco Primo had to stop and try it. What a great find! We had a chimichanga and three proper tacos, better than any Mexican restaurant I've been to. Wish we lived closer but we will be back when ever we are in the area.

I had the taco salad bowl and my life partner has the chimichanga. Delicious! Great place to stop by after a boat trip.

Incredibly fresh food! Tacos were some of the best I have ever had. NO greasy sloppy beef soaking your taco into a mess. Great flavor, not greasy, and fresh! Salsa is very good, especially if you like silentro. Funky cool menu and superior service. I wish there was a spot like this down state. BONUS: Owner stopped at our table to make sure everything was on point. Mas Excellente!

I really enjoyed my combo plate! The pico de gallo was milder than what I am use too, but fresh and delicious. Actually, all the food was mild...nothing spicy. I also loved the refried beans and rice, the chicken flauta and the pork taco. My hubby had the sauced burrito and he said it was good, but he would have liked more meat and less lettuce in it. He also liked the pork taco, soft shell. We will be back...thanks Amy...winner, winner, taco dinner!

The place is clean. The service is great. And the food is excellent! You will get a plate of food if you come here. I highly recommend eating here.

Have eaten here for lunch several times over the last few weeks. I have not found a menu item I haven't liked yet. My favorite is the fiesta bowl with chicken followed closely by the smothered burrito. Great addition to the Munising lunch\dinner scene!

This place was awesome! They even let our pup hang outside with us!! I was impressed with the whole staff and the food was absolutely fantastic!!! Thanks for feeding a slew of extremely hungry travelers!!!

Got the taco and chicken flouta combo. Was a 30 min wait even though I preordered a hour before. But they had just opened the day before so it is understandable :) As far as food I was overall pleased, but very disappointed that there was no fresh cilantro, which to me is imperative in authentic Mexican cuisine. Hoping they have it as a option next time I order...

This place is the best. My friend and I were looking for a place to eat before she ran the Grand Island race. We showed up 5 minutes before they close. As we were leaving the owner stopped us and said to please come in everything was still out. We did and we were not disappointed ! The food was so so good! And the whole staff was very friendly. Recommend the corn bites-AMAZING! We will be back next year!

We had the white fish tacos, the fry bread taco, kid's taco meal, and a burrito at different times during our visit. All of our meals were delicious, seasoned well, and came with large portions. We will definitely be back again! :)

Couldn’t decide what to get for lunch, so i decided to work my way down the menu one visit at a time.. had the Fiesta Bowl with chicken. Awesome..Serves was Great.People are great. Can’t wait to return for the “smothered fiesta fries”

Visiting from out of town. The food was very good, you can tell it was made fresh! We received friendly service with a smile and I would highly recommend you eat here! Prices are reasonable too!

Thoroughly enjoyed both beef and chicken tacos! We grabbed them 'to go' and headed for East Channel Brewing Company. Great combo. (Sad the white fish tacos weren't available, but we'll definitely go back!)

Had the chicken/beef tacos with an eggrol and some whitefish. Very good food, great service and very friendly environment. Highly recommended!!
