Gelato Italiano

Gelato ('frozen', the common word for all kinds of ice cream) is a frozen dessert of Italian origin. Artisanal gelato in Italy generally contains 6–10% butterfat, which is lower than other styles of frozen dessert. Gelato typically contains 70% less air and more flavoring than other kinds of frozen desserts, giving it a density and richness that distinguishes it from other ice creams.

We tried the Madagascar fine chocolate and the blueberry cheesecake flavours. The Madagascar fine chocolate was creamy chocolaty and decadent. The blueberry cheesecake one was good in taste but was too sweet for my liking. The items are a bit overpriced but that is to be expected since the outlet is located in a mall

Located as a small outlet just near the middle of the food court this one serves some absolutely delicious ice creams. We had ordered the Madagascar fine chocolate and let me tell you it was the best chocolate ice cream I have ever eaten at any outlet. We had ordered the ice cream in a cup and they fill that cup completely up to the brim. The ice cream tasted simple delicious and you could feel the taste of original dark chocolate while you delve into the ice cream. And the mixture of all that creamy milk blended to perfection with dark chocolate is absolutely wonderful. For chocolate lovers, it cannot get better than this. Other than this they also serve other unique flavors such as tiramisu, pink guava etc. And all of them taste absolutely wonderful. You can also try those cheesecake flavors if you like cheesecake. The only thing these guys could improve is upon the quantity they serve. Such as for the Madagascar fine chocolate we ordered it cost us Rs. 99 but the quantity feels really less even though they say it is a small cup. So that could be improved upon. Rest the taste and quality of the ice creams is absolutely wonderful. Try it and you are sure to love it.

Was at Oberoi couple of weeks ago for a movie, Used the Bookmyshow's "one on one " free coupon here. We had "Belgian Chocolate" & "Madagascar Fine Chocolate" (2nd one because Chocolate Hazelnut was not available). I tried Gelato for the first time and came to know the difference with ice-cream too afterwards :P. Anyway i don't like to eat ice-creams much, But for once a while it was good enough. Don't remember which one but one of them gave a feel of frozen coffee kind. Will try non-chocolate version in my next visit (Non Chocolate? - Yes, Probably :) ).
