The food was really good. Try paneer labab daal. I would say you must try everything in small portion.

Every-time we have visited here, consistently the food is superb, the staff is well behaved and the ambience feels just appropriate. Nothing could beat the Ker Saangri Sabji and multigrain Roti along with amazing desserts specially the Paan ice cream

Tamak is a small restaurant with seating for about 20 people. The restaurant offers one of the best North India food in the city with both traditional as well as modern fusion food items. We called for the Truffle Essence, Mushroom, Cheese, Sea Salt Kulcha and Tabdoori Soya Chaap for starters. The kulcha is served with Himalayan salt but I liked them as is. The chaap was flavourful and absolutely delicious. For mains, we ordered Amritsari Chhole, Chur Chur Parantha and Amritsari Kulcha. Amritsari Chole is not a very uncommon dish but to cook it so perfectly is an amazing feat achieved by the Tamak kitchen staff. To go along with the food, we called for a Jaljeera, Sweet Lassi and Kala Khatta Banta Soda. The drinks were all good but the Banta soda was a bit too sweet probably due to excess kala khatta syrup. For desserts we ordered a portion each of Jalebi Rabri and Jamun Fruit Tili wali Kulfi. The Jalebi Rabri has thin, mini jalebis which were more delicious than they looked cute. The kulfi was served on a stick as per the name with black salt which is ground on top of it in front of you. On our request the staff cut it up into pieces and served which was appreciated. The service staff were very warm, welcoming and polite. Overall had a great dinner at Tamak.

Tasty food. We tried Soya chaps(5/5), Kaju veg kababs(3/5), Pizza Kulcha (4/5), Paneer Labadar (5/5) and Jilebi rabadi (2.5/5). The drinks are ok. The sitting is very limited. Reservation is recommended. There are only 5 tables (if I am not wrong). We didn't reserve, but luckily got one table. The service is quite good. Nice experience overall.

The food was simply excellent. The galouti kebabs were some of the best I've had after the Lukcnows Tunde kebabs. Smoked Laal mass had very well cooked and perfectly spiced Mutton. I'd also recommend the Jalebi Rabdi for dessert. The service was good as well.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a North Indian restaurant, and I must say, it was an experience that left a lasting impression. The menu boasted a wide array of traditional North Indian dishes, and I was spoiled for choice. From aromatic curries to sizzling tandoori delights, the culinary offerings were a testament to the rich and diverse heritage of North Indian cuisine.

Authentic Punjabi cousine, very hospitable service, great table ware. Really enjoyed the chaats and chutneys. They have interesting selection of drinks. We ordered two types of chaats and jalapeno curd kebab and Pani puri as well as Delhi papdi chaat and bunta cola. The dishes were very well balanced, just the right flavour and very less oil. Perfect place to enjoy a cosy north Indian dinner.
