Cafe Mangii

These guys have their plating down to an art ! Thankfully the food that accompanies those plates lives up to its visual appeal. Just about every thing we tried on the menu was good, there was a bacon warped some thing that really exceeded our expectations. The only word of caution would be the pastas in red sauce, they were a little too intense if not slightly acidic may be it was the batch but what ever, order one try it out.

This was my second visit to Cafe Mangi. I ordered the Gorged Mushrooms - full of cheese and served on a bed of bbq sauce. The calamari and herbed chicken were also amazing starters. For the mains, we went in for 2 types of pastas and lasagna. I would strongly recommend the Bacon Chicken Rollatini, just to die for. Overall its a great place to enjoy a beautiful family dinner, which a nice not so loud ambience, perfect to that have that over the table conversations.

Great Ambiance. Good place go out with family,friends or date.Usually not crowded. Cordial staff,good food and beverage options. Pros. 1. Good place to go for dinner. 2. Both closed and open Roof options. 3. Orders serviced timely. 4. Very low or no waiting time. Cons. 1.) Not a party or dancing place. 2.) Slightly expensive (what do you expect in Hiranandani,powai) 3.) Alcohol is not served in open roof area. 4.) Parking space not available.

I love the ambience and vibe of cafe mangii. The Cajun Creole pizza was exceptional. We also had the Spaghetti Al Brodo which did not come to our liking. It isn't mentioned on the menu that it's a tomato based sauce and was very sour. The staff however is really good and did not express any discomfort in wanting to take the dish back and redo it with more cream to tone down the flavour of the tomato. He even offered to change the order completely should we not have liked his second preparation. The service makes or breaks the experience of any restaurant and this one, in my opinion was just the kind that was made amazing but their help and cheerful attitude. Also had a mocktail which was well made again. Would totally recommend a visit here for a lovely evening and some lasting authentic Italian flavours.
