Best Guamanian food I have had in a long time.
I got the Fiesta Plate with red rice, grilled chicken, chicken keleguin and a salad. Also got corn soup. Everything was amazing. As of Nov. 05 2021 there is dine in.
We've lived nearby for years and finally decided to try this place. We got takeout. Everything is very flavorful and delicious! We tried the corn soup, the empanadas, the fiesta (chicken) plate, and the adobo pork. It was all excellent. I think my favorite was the pork, but it's a very hard decision! We will definitely be returning!
This place is no longer a vegan place. It now offers Guam island food. It's great to be honest. Nice grilled meats.
Nice steak and salad and rice. The steak was a bit tough to chew though. Ordered via uber eats. Prompt delivery
One word describes this place-
Flavors!!
Brian prepared my family's dinner meal for us. It was my first time there after driving by so many times for some many years from work or even from church. I decided that I wanted to try this place out and I'm glad I did.
The short ribs were very soft and flavorful. The vegetables were crunchy and tender but not overcooked. I don't know how Brian did it but everything that he prepared for us and we ate was so flavorful. All of the flavors were infused and melded together. I also ordered the braised pork and the non spicy curry cage free chicken. The most surprising of all was the Fiesta Combo Plate. It reminded me of chicken sisig, a Filipino dish. This quickly became the favorite.
I recommend to try this place out. Their food is prepared fresh with fresh ingredients grown out front such as the herbs they used probably for making these dishes so flavorful and magical. For sure we're coming back again in the future.
Yami Grill is now my family’s favorite restaurant - we order and pick up food from there at least once or twice a week. Staff has been real friendly and food quality is great and delicious. Their corn soup reminds me of how my Mom used to make hers. Their plantain dessert is excellent. Healthy way to eat out (and so much better than my own cooking😜).
It was good...I usually go here to treat myself because it is local and walkable. This has great quality ingredients and fresh veggies, I think the items are organic and locally grown. This week I had their gyro and it had some type of lemon cucumber in it along with the fresh greens. It was sweet and interesting and gave the gyro good texture. The owner is local and prides himself in his work. We try to support local businesses so it's great to see this restaurant here!
