I kept wowing because the desserts are so cute and exquisite like the ones I had in Paris. I liked their diverse selection of tarts. The pistachio tart was not too sweet and mousse was well balanced. Price was around $11. I love to try their coffee and pastries too!
My favorite coffee shop in downtown MV. I always got for a vanilla latte and they make it perfectly, never to sweet. The pastries are also on point. Th croissants are so flaky and their tarts are also really great. It’s a bit on the pricier side, but it’s a great place to grab a coffee and something sweet to eat. Their outside seating is also amazing, especially on a Saturday morning.
I love this place. We went here on a Monday afternoon, so there wasn’t a lot of rush. We ordered the ‘Harmony’ and the Chocolate Tart and both were scrumptious. Harmony reminded me of the toffee that I used to have a kid, it being in melted form, along with a few other ingredients. Chocolate Tart was well, quite chocolate-y without being just over the top sweet. We also ordered a latte, which tasted great too.
The servers and cashier were polite too, and their service was prompt as well. They’ve tables and chairs both inside and outside. Ample free parking is available nearby. The place is located in downtown Mountain View. They’ve quite an extensive menu of what I gleaned were, quite delectable looking desserts.
Just some general trivia: Since I’m interested in French culture in general, I inquired what Alyzee meant while paying for everything. I knew Maison means ‘house’ in French. The person working there told me Alyzee is a name after Alicia, the daughter of the restaurant’s owner, and so the place is literally translated to Alicia’s house.
I’ll be back here soon.
Best European hot chocolate in the Bay area with a dash of hazelnut. The chocolate is not too sweet not too bitter, just right.
We also ordered the lemon meringue tart- which looked like a dream and tasted quite alright- a bit too eggy for our taste

This is my favorite French bakery in the entire Bay Area! All the pastries are exquisite and the owner is a real French person, which makes it extra nice to order speaking in French!
Definitely a little corner of French paradise in California! Would definitely go back lots of times!
Very delicious French style pastry. I like it because It is not too sweet and it looks so yummy. Lots of customer even close to their closing time.
Totally fascinated by this patisserie! Their exquisite and delicious desserts got the top of my personal ratings from the first try. Our visit of Maison Alyzee was not planned at all my husband and I just were driving through Mountain View and decided to have a cup of coffee with some sweets. I really liked the exterior of the place and amount of people at the tables outside was a sign that it’s worth to give a try. The assortment in late afternoon was not full but they still had options to choose. We ordered Red Lady, Mohito Passiano and chocolate tart. All three desserts very top notch. I liked Mohito dessert the most for its freshness and light texture. Red lady broke my heart by its amazing croissant base and elegant nutty flavor of cream. Chocolate tart was my husbands favorite :) We both appreciated it’s complex content and diverse layers. We had amazing taste and aesthetic experience having coffee stop in this place. Definitely will come back to try more of their sweet masterpiece
They have some of the best croissants, very fluffy and layered with different flavors (almond, chocolate). A must try for the French experience.
The street around here is very active and lit.
