Jersey Mike's Subs

I placed an order online to the Mountain Brook AL store. I did curbside pick up. When i got home my sandwich was made incorrectly. It had salt and tomatos on it neither of which i can eat. I called told the manager (Lea or Leigh). She apologized and said she couldnt refund the money on an online order. She offered to let me come back by and pick up a new sandwich. I live 30 mins away. I didnt feel like spending another hour in the car. She offered to replace the order later the next time i wanted to come in. I called today, the person on the phone was nice. He offered to make the sandwich. When i showed up to get it i was ambushed by one of the staff. He handed me a phone and made me speak with the district manager?? Who informed me that he wasnt in the business of making free sandwiches and the next time they made a mistake i would have to come straight back to get the sandwich replaced. It was so incredibly rude. I got the feeling he thought i was inventing this situation to get a free sandwich. Someone should tell him...going forward... If you dont want to correct mistakes dont make any. Shame on him. I work in the service industry and if anyone that worked for me spoke to one of our customers like that i would fire them. So unprofessional. My wife and i spilt a sandwich from there once a month. I am sure we are not your biggest customers but we were loyal. You guys have a superior product and we will miss enjoying your sandwiches but we wont be back.

I came here because my Mom's Philly cheese sandwiches are always so good. I grabbed a giant today for me and the family and it was just ok. I asked for it to be toasted and for grilled onions and peppers on half. The gentleman used the wrong bread and just transferred it over to the correct bread. There wasn't enough meat for a giant, half the cheese was left on the old bread, it wasn't toasted and the onions and peppers weren't cooked. I tipped very well and wish I would've just asked them to remake the sandwich. I had been looking forward to this sandwich all day, what a let down.

These guys know what they are doing. From Jersey to Texas I have tried them all over. They are true to making the best subs. Forget about dull subway sandwiches. Keep up the good work. Reply to owner: "It was my pleasure to leave this review". Also let me add a quick comment about what I have read in other reviews. " Jersey Mikes no matter where you go, the sub's preparation takes time. That's the reason they are done right". So if a customer is in a hurry they can call ahead of time. Me personally, I know what to expect. And like I mentioned above, from "New Jersey to Texas", so far no Jersey Mikes has failed me!
