Super cute little cafe in the small town of Mt Vernon I got the fish and chips and it was delicious. I will definitely be stopping here again!

The food is great! If you are in John Day, it is worth the trip to Mt Vernon. The portions are large, and the food is so good you will take the rest home for dinner. Do not try to eat their burgers/sandwiches while driving unless you are a passenger; you'll need both hands.
