Unfortunately, my first ever Google review of a restaurant has been inspired by a dismal experience. What began as a simple hunt for a breakfast burrito turned into being completely ripped off.
Firstly, it should be noted that Mexico Cafe doesn't list prices on their online menu. My friend called i
Great little, local choice for awesome Mexican food. Best Mole sauce north of Fresno, and you don't have to go through (or to) hell in order to get it. However, you will have to wait a few minutes. Not too long, and the chips and salsa are fresh, plentiful and delicious. The "spicy" actually is, so

Cozy little Mexican cafe, great service, great food and very fair prices. You can get a great taco salad with the option of actual steak, (fajita meat), not just shredded beef! Housemade tortillas and salsas that don't kill your tastebuds.
My girlfriend grew up in Mount Vernon, and had been talking this place up for a while. I grew up in Texas and hadn't been able to find good Mexican food, until this restaurant that is. Try the ceviche, it's pretty good.
I got the adorable tacos. 3 for 18$ but they were no better than a taco truck. It comes with rice and beans though. The service was good, staff was very nice.
Couldn't have picked a better place to stop after our visit to the tulip fields! Absolutely loved the food and atmosphere! Excellent service. The food was really good!! Smelled the fresh salsa before I even tasted it!! Delish. Really yummy!
We've been going to the Mexico cafe since the 70s it's always great and the service is awesome. Could only give 5 stars they deserve more
