Snow Goose Produce

Don’t forget to stop here on your way to or from Conner. It’s the busiest during the Tulip times, and summer months, but they also have great produce into the autumn months. I was hoping to pick up some blueberries, but was a month’ish early. But, I got some amazing strawberries instead. They have a selection of everything from produce, in season flowers and plants, bread from BreadFarm (Edison), sustainable baskets, locally made soaps, local wines and beers, cheeses, fresh seafood, and probably what they’re famous for: ice cream by Lopez Island Creamery. Great place to pull off with some scenic views of the valley and mountains.

Ice cream seems to be the main draw & Lopez Island Creamery is good & fresh & plentiful (Bow Hill blueberry!) -- cash only. Their idea of a scoop is generous. Plus Bread Farm loaves, Golden Glen Creamery cheeses, Shambala gf baked goods & specialty items. But I was ignored at the cash register while my friend was fawned over. Even though I bought more. Maybe I was too ugly, I don't know. Not exactly friendly or inviting. Maybe I'll have my popular friend do my shopping for me in the future. Go to Stanwood's Mossyback farmstand for better service.

Not gonna lie, we only came here for the ice cream! We’ve actually driven passed this place several times in the past, without even realizing what was hidden inside! The market itself is adorable and they offer a variety of items, not just produce, but the ice cream is where it’s at!! The scoops are insanely giant and oh so delish! Single scoop is more than enough! They off “split scoops” where you can get two diff ice creams for the one scoop…. One would assume you get like half a scoop of one flavor and half a scoop of the other, but it’s more like you still get a giant scoop of each! They have like a million diff flavors and they make their own waffle cones! You can even buy a few extra cones to take home with ya! The ice cream shop side takes cash only!!

We love coming here whenever we are in town. I always forget its cash only.for the ice cream, unless you pay ahead at the produce stand. Tons of incredible produce and plants to plant. Their strawberry plants were only 2.49 per plant. Amazing fresh seafood and locally sourced goods. If you like to support local small businesses go here. Their waffle cones are fresh and the ice cream is delicious! But their servings are MASSIVE. So be aware of that before you order a few scoops. One scoop was plenty for my husband and I to share.
