My most favorite summer treat 🤩
Dill pickle and chamoy snow cone with sour spray and tajin dashed on it 😋 I will totally be following them around in their food truck next year 🥰 thank you for being the best bayou snow cone makers in the north 😉🙃🙂

this is a really nice place to eat if your just trying to go with the family to get something they’re snowballs are amazing even though this used to be a bbq place and it still has pulled pork best restaurant i’ve been to in a while.! but i would kinda like to see the pulled pork comeback..

Stopped in for lunch, had the beef brisket sandwich with bb beans. Also had a snowball, all was excellent. Staff was friendly, restaurant was clean. Thank you for a great lunch.

Great food if they ever open back up. Haven’t seen the doors open in over a year I do wish they would open back up they had the best bbq around. I loved it. There was never a problem with the food. I was the best around. The problem is getting the place open.

Ordered here for my birthday and it was SO GOOD. Different choices for sauces to keep everyone happy and the food was amazing! My family wants the baked beans recipe and if I could, I’d own stock in their brisket 🤤
5 meals were brought out to us in under 10 minutes and the staff was super friendly and helpful! Great experience and will definitely be returning!
Additional note: I have to add that I LOVE that they keep the sauces on the side and not directly on the meats! It allows the person to choose their sauce, but also allows them to not have sauce if they have dietary restrictions! Like my diabetic boyfriend which BBQ sauce is dangerous for his sugar levels but he was still able to enjoy that brisket 👌🏻 THANK YOU!

I thought I had left a google review but I’m really now getting on here after seeing some jagoff leave a 1 star review on this amazing place. I’m from Grand Rapids but I’ve been here 2 maybe 3 times now. The bbq is amazing!!! Some of the best brisket and pulled pork I’ve ever had. If someone ever has a issue with anything, bring it to someone’s attention and if that place stands by its product then they will make it right and this is one of those places!!! I’ll be back for sure soon

Our office ordered Maxon’s BBQ for lunch today and it was amazing! Each of us ordered something different, and we struggled to determine whose meal was the best. Every item we had was absolutely delicious, and we have already resolved to make a habit of ordering from here. Doug was extremely helpful in taking our order and making sure all of our food was properly prepared. If you are looking for a place to eat, you should definitely try Maxon’s which has got to be the best BBQ in town!

Excellent food! Full rack of ribs were the most tender I've had from a restaurant and the brisket was amazing. Burnt butts and sausage were also very good. Mac and cheese was not very wet but the flavor was great. The spicy creamed corn and baked beans were my favorite. The only thing I wish was that they gave us more sauce. The sweet and the spicy bbq sauces were great. I wish we lived closer, we'd definitely be regulars!!!
