Review Persis Biryani Indian Grill - Mount Juliet

Best Indian cuisine in Nashville. It is also affordable. I've been to "Chef" style Indian restaurants that did not have as good tasting food as Persis and paid two or three times as much for the meal. Good eating.

Always a delicious delight. They recently added more items to the menu and the service is on top. If you have a taste for Indian food, I would recommend this place. Prices and portions are good.

Great Ambiance and exemplary Paneer Tikka Masala. Service was top notch. I haven’t found my vegetable biryani fresh and felt as if it was preprepared and heated before it was served.

Everything here from the veggie and keema samosas, chicken 65, biryani, tandoori, etc is all outstanding! The service is very nice, too. Definitely a must eat for Mt Juliet.

This is place is very cozy and have a fairly concise menu for an Indian joint which I definitely appreciate. We got the malai kebab and butter chicken and while the flavors were nice the chicken itself wasn't very soft. The tandoori roti and samosa chaat were very nice. They have outdoor seating as well which is a plus during the wonderful weather we're experiencing right now. Would highly recommend the mango lassi to finish off your meal. Overall a good option for Indian food in this part of Nashville.

This was my first time having Indian food and this was SO delicious!! Absolutely loved the paneer butter masala and oh my goodness, the garlic naan was amazing. Will definitely be going back to try some other dishes.

The reason I'm giving this place 3 stars is because last night the service was HORRIBLE!! When we walked in it was barely busy. It took over an hour for us to recieve our food! Once our appetizer finally came out however, I was still waiting on my plate to come for 15-20 minutes at the least. Our server wasn't helpful in the slightest. When we would try to get his attention he would turn his back to us or never make eye contact. There was a group of people who came in after we did, also ordered after we did, and all 4 of them got their food and paid their check before our food even arrived. We saw many other patrons getting just as upset as we were. Thankfully another guy helped us out and made sure I was not charged for my late food, and was very sincere; but he was the only one! If it were based on the food alone, I would give it 5 stars because this is seriously one of the best tasting Indian restaurants I have ever been to. It will be a very long time before I decide to go back- and that's a damn shame because I love the food.

Our first time at this restaurant. Very friendly staff and great service. We had rasam soup, pappadum, garlic naan, butter chicken and chicken tikka masala. It was all excellent, the food came out hot and it was full of flavor. I recommend Persis Biryani and we will go back...

Excellent Indian restaurant in Mount Juliet TN... Spice levels are just awesome and quality of the food is just unbeatable. If someone is into native spice levels, please try "bullet naan" (Fiery hot)... that's something not so easy to handle... Fantastic ambiance and friendly staff.. Great place to hang out for a team lunch / dinner or with family... Keep it up..

I loved the food. I had butter chicken with garlic naan bread. The service was decent and the place is clean. I felt I got enough food for the price. I will definitely return.

The food is amazing but the service is just plain terrible. My to-go orders are always wrong and when I dine in, the host pretty much ignores me. A white man can't enjoy spicy indian food with an empty drink for 10 minutes. just sayin. I looked like an idiot waving down my server while he pretended not to see me. I know I drink down a lot of tea, but I always add a dollar to the tip per glass they fill. Maybe they guy didn't get the memo.

The naan is crispy but doesn't fall apart, the Chicken Chittenado was absolutely fantastic, rich and spicy. The food here is great and not as expensive as others in the area. However, the servers really don't pay attention to you after taking your order and dropping off your food. We had to flag down the servers for refills which can be a bit of a pain when you're eating spicy Indian food. Maybe they were short staffed? Who knows, but next time we'll just have to order 2 drinks if we get anything spicy to keep from melting in our seats lol

Food and presentation was Phenomenal BUT. The server who served us was AWFUL. He should be fired. He was rolling his eyes to customers , not explaining the menu. He was acting everyone must know the menu!!!

The food is fabulous. So many flavors and the spices just all come together. We had the fried cauliflower and corn as appetizers and they were tasty. The butter chicken in a spicy tomato sauce was so creamy and tender. They don't serve wine but you can bring your own bottle and they have wine glasses for you. The guys are really nice and attentive. We will be back. Yum!

We dropped and has a great meal. Each dish was perfect. We had Paneer Butter Masala, Palak Paneer, Baingan Bharta, and our favorite, Malai Kofta. Coming back again and again!

We are so happy to have an Indian restaurant nearby. The food is excellent and service is outstanding. We appreciated our server making sure we knew that we were ordering spicy food and was happy to describe anything on the menu to us. Great ambiance!
