The Gathering Place

I have been here many times in the past. The food will never disappoint, it's always fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. It's a venue foe banquets, weddings, parties and today was a National Prayer breakfast. The Gathering Place also offers take out meals Fridays and holiday packs for Christmas, Thanksgiving Easter etc.

We had our daughter's wedding reception here during covid. It was wonderful! JoAnn and Jim (owners) were really great with all of the extra details and restrictions necessary during covid. We did have to wear masks except when eating. There is an outside area that was very nice for guests to take a" breather". Joann and Jim communicated very well leading up to our event. One thing that I was very grateful for was the extra help Joann was able to provide...the wedding cake we had purchased in our hometown was smashed a little while getting it their. Joann was able to fix it and it was even more beautiful than when we originally got it! Very clean place, friendly, helpful staff.

Today was our daughter’s christening celebration. My husband and I are so happy to have chosen The Gathering Place for the luncheon. Everything was just perfect for our small group and so was the price! Joanne was great in responding to our questions and providing information for us to review. When she talked with my husband about tables and arrangements, she even thought to ask us if we wanted pink napkins, which we didn’t think about, and that little attention to detail really helped to make the luncheon feel all that more special. The servers were so attentive and very helpful. The food was delicious and so well laid out. We will definitely be using The Gathering Place for future events as long as they aren’t booked. Thank you Joanne and the wonderful servers for everything today!!
