Staying at the hotel in the newly renovated jungle room. What a fantastic place! An historic brewery from the 1800's. Brandon our server was awesome and Richard helped us immensely upon arrival. Kelly who handled our reservation at the hotel was beyond amazing as far as customer service. The food was wonderful. Looking forward to returning in the future.

Did a Murder Mystery Dinner for my husband's and best friends birthday. It was so much fun. When we first walked in we were greeted by a gentleman who stayed in character from the time we arrived till the end of the dinner. Drinks were made by the pleasant bartender Dave. All drinks were very good. I believe there were 65 people that attended the dinner. The food came out a little later than I expected. First course was a salad. It could have had more dressing. Next we received some broccoli soup. The portion was quite small. Next we received our main entree. I got chicken with a corn and mashed potatoes. My husband got the same sides but he got the steak. The chicken was very good, the corn was a tad bit spicy and the mashed potatoes were very good. My husband's steak was cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth. Last was dessert. A chocolate brownie/cake with chocolate icing and some whipped cream. It was very good. I would say that rolls with butter would have been a nice "hold me over" since the food came out later than expected. My husband was chosen to play a role, which I believe they chose one person to participate from each room. He did a great job and definitely tried his best to get in to character. Overall the dinner was very fun and exciting. I would definitely do it again.

I came here with a group for a tour and a beer tasting. This historic place is very interesting and worth a visit, if not for dinner than for one of their murder mystery events. The staff is very courteous and addressed all of our questions.

This place is truly beautiful. Our food was absolutely delicious. Our server Kendra was great. We really liked the low lighting and piano music in the background. We also enjoyed learning about the brewery.

We were in the area and we wanted to visit this unique place, the catacombs are open after 5pm so we had dinner at the brewery, the food was good, the patio is super charming. We were able to take the tour to the catacombs with the hostess who was super friendly and knowledgeable. We definitely plan to return to have dinner in the catacombs, it is something out of the ordinary, a trip to the past, worth the trip

We had dinner in the catacombs. The experience was totally unique, and the staff was wonderful. Everyone, the bartender, the person who did our tour while taking us to our table and finally our waiter, was great - super friendly and accommodating. Before coming, we had read all of the reviews. We knew not to expect much from the kitchen so when our experience was the same as other's, we weren't surprised. Knowing in advance also made it so we were not disappointed. We went for the experience and were so pleased with the people! We started with the lobster bisque and roasted brussel sprouts. I was pleasantly surprised to find a substantial amount of actual lobster meat in the soup, although I would have preferred they didn't toss in the oyster crackers for me as I don't eat crackers in my lobster bisque. The main course consisted of pork tomahawk for my husband and the filet oscar for me. His pork was fine. I ordered my steak rare, as rare as they could serve it. It arrived well done. The way the waiter asked about it led me to believe the cook already knew his error. I shared that it was indeed well done but that I would eat it anyway. The waiter insisted on bringing me another. The second steak was perfect. Unfortunately, my husband finished his meal before mine arrived. We had 3 drinks in total, the soup, an appetizer and two meals for a cost over $200 (including tip). It would have been best if we could have enjoyed our meals together. The green beans were ok. The potatoes were over cooked. Overall, I recommend trying the catacombs at least once. The experience was amazing. Hopefully, they work out the kinks in the kitchen to make it a 5 star experience.

I loved the atmosphere. The building is old and you can tell but I love that they are trying to keep original features. We were able to explore and even had a small tour. The food was ok and a bit on the cool side once it got to us in the catacombs. The drinks were good and the staff super friendly.

My wife and I attended our first murder mystery dinner last night with a group of 8 which was awesome. They get an A+ for the service, atmosphere and the food. We had a great time, we will be back for sure!

Beautiful old building in beautiful small town. Spectacular pirate performance on 5/26/2023 42ft below street level in the catacombs. The staff and food and show great people and worth every bit of the five stars given. Worth the ride worth the time and money my only comparison would be if you liked the medieval times style show there you go! That show not for the little kids 16yrs plus at least.

I misunderstood the way the restaurant worked I thought the whole thing was in a cave. We ended having the best time on the patio!! Our server Jake was amazing!! If you’re a history buff and want to know some amazing sites in the area, he’s your guy! He gave history on the restaurant and all the details on stuff like the hotel, murder mystery dinners ect. He even shared a local spot that we ended up exploring after dinner. He was super nice and the food was amazing. Bubes is a hidden Gem!

We had a wonderful experience here. It started off with an informative tour of the history of this brewery as we were walked to our seats down in the catacombs. The whole ambiance of it being dimly lit and eating dinner under the street was very unique. We had excellent service and each of our dishes we order came out great. We will be back again for sure!

Bubes Brewery was fantastic! We had reservations for a catacombs dinner and it was phenomenal. The dinner started with a brief but educational tour through the brewery to the catacombs. The catacombs had a great ambiance and felt authentic, and a unique dining experience. Drinks and food were wonderful, no complaints. Dan, our server, was amazing - he took excellent care of us and felt like his hospitality enhanced our experience. After we went to the bar to purchase some merchandise and the bartender who assisted us was lovely and attentive. There was a murder mystery dinner going on at the time of our dinner, we did not partake but everyone we saw passing through for it looked like they were having a great time. Definitely a must visit for everyone passing through Lancaster PA

Bube's is a really cool place - old and almost cave-like. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I wasn't a fan of their house beers, but that is just my own preference. Most of their house beer selections were on the sour side. The food was good but not great. If we pass by this way again, we will stop in.

My wife and I had dinner at Bubes, in the catacombs recently Overall, we were happy with our experience. The building itself is very cool, and filled with history. Our dinner started with a short tour of the catacombs along with a bit of the history. Very interesting, and learned a lot! Still much of the original operation there. Our service was wonderful. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, and they create a nice atmosphere in the catacombs. Being honest, it was a bit overpriced in my opinion. And for the price, they should at least serve bread with the table, which they didnt. However, the food itself was good; no complaints on taste or presentation. Just didnt feel it warrented the price. I had the Chicken Paulette and started with a French Onion. There is a different menu at the restaurant on the first floor, which seemed more reasonably priced. We'll likely try that next time we visit. It seemed very lively in the outside eating area.

Such a cool and historic location! The menu had many unique dishes, however the food was very hit or miss. I really enjoyed my meal but a few others in my party mentioned that the burgers were more on the dry side and the fish & chips were overly breaded. My recommendation would be to stick to the entrees- I had the Bangkok peanut chicken teriyaki and it was delicious! I'll definitely be back to order my dish again!
