MJ is a hidden gem. Great atmosphere, cool people, and bangin brews. The owner Dano is a stud. Really good dude. It's very homie and it's very easy to find somewhere comfortable to post up at. Go with a group of friends or come by yourself and make some new ones. I've made quite a few friends and had some awesome conversations at mermaids. Oh and you can find your favorite beer on tap only it's the say.... 2008 version that has been aging and becoming more unique for the exact moment you order a pint. They have a never ending list of beers that they have been aging for years and years which is a cool difference from what I see at other taprooms. One of my favorite spots. Come give it a try.

So deliciously different! This is like somewhere I have never been before. Like someone has set up a bar in their cottage. Very different. I believe during the day you can purchase their second hand stuff. There was a lovely garden with fairy lights and a chap playing some music which I haven't a clue what it was. Very relaxing and zen I would say. Well worth a visit

Best place to grab craft beer in town - and one of the most unique bars I’ve ever been to! An eclectic little place which has you feeling you may be in a thrift store with wonderful and random items scattered about. The beer selection was good, staff friendly, and enjoyed the chill DJ out back. Great vibes - I felt like I was at a house party.

Decor totally overwhelms you visually. It's like a hoarder's paradise mixed with a college pothead's dorm room. Seriously unique & filled with tons of little odd things. Staff is super friendly and their drinks are awesome. Small space inside though. They have a "girl scout cookies" Porter that tastes incredible.
