Off the beaten path. Charming outdoor seating and the door so good. My husband had the seafood po-boy and I had the chowder and salad with grilled shrimp. Outstanding experience!

Clam chowder was delicious, with a slight kick to it. One of the best clam chowders I have ever had in a while.

Best seafood chowder I've ever had! 😋, superb scallops, and the waitress ( Lauren) was amazing!!!! We'll definitely be back often! Parking was simple, and the atmosphere was quaint... loved everything about this place!

Great seafood restaurant. I loved that is a local restaurant, with history and unique ambiance. Servers know about the meals and give recommendations if you need. My plate was great, good portion. The clamp chowder “yumi”. Private parking for guest and on the street. Nice Outdoor seating area. R

The best meal we've ever had in Mt Dora. Grilled shrimp on skewer with fried okra, famous chowder, and chicken tenders were all delicious. Warm welcome, friendly service and great food. Well be back!

The clam chowder was so many years #1 in competition, they asked them not to compete! And it is fabulous! We were even given a sample to try before ordering! Super friendly, wonderful atmosphere! Will go back anytime I am back in Mt.Dora!!

Great food! Awesome and friendly service. We loved the Captain's closet, Lol. Everything was very good. We definitely are coming back to try more items on the menu. Menu is small, but that is a good thing. Trying to have multiple options and don't make good food is a very common mistake that a lot of restaurants make. Master a small menu is key for success.
