Amazing food and service. Cannot beat the price/portion size. The most tender Salmon and Tuna ive had in my life. Softer than butter. The server Sam was VERY helpful on explaining the menu to me, And recomended a delicious Asian beer. 10/10 amazing. Great vibes, people, and food. Had a HUGE plate of Mi Xao, A plate full of sushi, AND A BEER for only ~$25. Outstanding!!!!
If you haven't eaten here yet, you need to! They accommodate to all diets, sushi and non sushi eaters. Some of the best sushi I have ever ate is here from the original Cali Roll to the Sushi Burger. We look forward to the new menu updates, and hopefully they add home delivery soon. Sam is our favorite go to server when we dine in!
Just Go! Had one of the most unique sushi experiences ever. The sushi burger - DELICIOUS. You can tell right away that the ingredients are high quality. The staff was so nice. Mei she was so kind, helping us to order everything. Thank you Mei.
It was absolutely epic. I had no idea you can do that with sushi. I had a sushi burrito that that had hot Cheetos on the outside phenomenal. The taste was great and fresh. My friend naomi had the Sushi crunch wrap and my friend Chris had the sushi taco. Allll amazing as we ate some of each others choices. The best part was how amazingly affordable it was. If you are in Mt Dora this place is a must!
Great service, awesome mozzarella Rangoon appetizers! We ordered poke pizza and sushi hot dog! Delish! Will come back! Loved their setting. No wait time. Happy to have driven from Jacksonville! Keep up the innovation!
Had one of the most unique sushi experiences ever. Tried the sushi pizza, the sushi burger, the sushi donut, and the sushi taco, with my all time favorite being the burger. You can tell right away that the ingredients are high quality and it’s very surprising how well executed the dishes are for the price. Not only that, but the food was delivered promptly and the service was impeccable. Delicious in every way and will definitely be coming back every time I’m in town!
Finally got to try the Wave and Mount Dora and they did not disappoint! I got the poke sushi pizza and a sushi doughnut togo! Both were amazing 🥲 I will be coming back whenever I’m in the area and trying those crab Rangoon mozzarella sticks. Tip: try to get there early there was an hour wait when I stopped by!
Quality of food and their presentations are fantastic. What a nice concept for Poke and Sushi!! Service was great. The restaurant is clean and with cool decorations. We really enjoyed the experience. I definitely would recommend this restaurant to our friends and family.
Saw a food blogger post about this place months ago and we finally made it out there. Unfortunately for us, I picked a day that Mt Dora was having a craft fair, so parking was a nightmare.
We were instantly greeted and sat at a table, moments later our server welcomed us and offered to get us drinks, sadly she must have just came off a smoke break...one of my biggest pet peeves. Restaurant owners really need to do a better job of policing their servers.
In any case she was good, recommended a great appetizer, the Krab Rangoon Mozzarella Sticks and wow, they were amazing!
I ordered the Sushi Crunch Wrap Supreme and it did not disappoint, it has everything in it. I was only challenged by how to eat it. Do I go in like a burger or attempt to eat it like traditional sushi (deconstructing it). I went burger style. My wife ordered the Flaming Dragon Roll and the Dancing Krab Roll, both were good.
The wait for the food was a little longer than we hoped for and while we were ok with it (given the odor of cigarettes) our server didn't really check on us much.
If you're in the area and are craving sushi, then Wave will be a solid stop.
The pork belly bao was awesome. The Bulgogi Bao was ok. My wife ordered a ramen soup, It was a little bit too salty. I ordered a sushi burguer, and it was ok. I had a sake mojito. I'm not a fan. Maybe using some fresh squeeze lime would make a huge difference in the mojito.
First time visiting this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Very nice & cozy atmosphere, the staff was extremely nice, patient, helpful when looking through the menu. We spent a little over $70 for two people and we got two appetizers, alcoholic drink each, and we both got an item from the main menu and the side items menu. They gave large portions so I did have to have a to-go container. There were so so so many options on the menu, which made it very hard to choose. All around nice experience.
I’ve been wanting to go here for years since I heard about it from SoozietheFoodie on Johnnys house radio. I decided to go today for my 30th birthday and was NOT disappointed. I’m incredibly impressed and can’t wait for the Maitland location to open. Our server, Jess, was very understanding and accommodating with our 1 year old daughter. We tried to clean up, but she was very kind with assuring us that she was fine. I had the sushi donut and we had 2 rolls, along with a kids meal. For an appetizer, we had sushi fries. The donut is as a little hard to understand how to logistically eat it, but I broke it up and it was delicious. Very Instagram worthy :). Delicious, excellent service, and worth the wait!
