We enjoyed an early dinner. I had chile relleno, chicken enchilada with rice and beans. My husband had a chile verde burrito. The salsa was exclent, my relleno was the best I've had and the burrito was very tasty. Cute restaurant, pleasant staff and great food!

This little shop was recommended to us by a local guy at the beach. I got the two steak tacos and it was great! I would definitely recommend. The food was tasty and I also really liked the horchata.

Best Red Snapper around!!! My wife's mother was here visiting from colombia and they are picky with food. They both loved the Red Snapper. It was also very reasonably priced as well.

5 stars? Why not, this place is legit. Old school, very personal, freshly prepared Mexican food.
Service was friendly, food was made and served quickly. Ordered a killer breakfast burrito and a machaca burrito. Beans, avacate, onions and cilantro. Chefs kiss!

Always a favorite. Convenient for Cayucos and Morro Bay visitors. Dog friendly outside seating.
Shrimp tostadas, chicken enchiladas and the daily specials are always great BUT THE SALSA IS WORTH BUYING EXTRA TO TAKE HOME!

There maybe five or six Mexican restaurants ... Unless Taco Bell counts.
Either way Chapala is hands down the absolute best Mexican restaurant this town has to offer and most others too.
I'm sort of picky when it comes to my food and I can honestly say that I have never had one bad piece of meat with fat or gristle or any oddity of any sort. The flavor never wavers it is always the absolute best. Don't waste your time on others cuz this really is the best that there is and I've lived over 30 years.
