Great food in a seaside harbor setting!! The fish and chips are awesome and the fish tacos are the best around!! Outdoor seating has a beautiful view of the harbor and Morro Bay Rock. Live music is continually being played and adds to the seaside, harbor ambience!. The clam chowder is great especially on a chily and overcast or foggy day which Morro Bay sees a lot of. That kind of adds to the ambience of the place. Well worth a stop during a walk along the harbor. Dining on the patio gives that old fisherman''s harbor feel to the place and when the live music is playing, the songs usually have some kind of "being by the sea"" vibe to it. Adding a bottle or glass of wine which is also an option there definitely enhances the experience and vibe!! On Saturdays they have the outdoor overns and smokers going and offer freshly cooked roasted chickens. Be sure to get there early to get one of these as they tend to sell out quick. The outdoor cooking definitely adds to the vibe!

We've been coming to Morro Bay from Nevada for almost 20 years now, and can't believe I have not reviewed our favorite location! - This is the first place we head to when we hit town. Fresh Fish. Top shelf fish at a great price. Locally sourced, and often straight off the boat. I wish I had taken pictures of the Halibut Cheeks, slabs of seared Bluefin, or grilled Thresher steaks that we just had along with a side of fresh local Sourdough. However we scarfed it all down like hungry sea beavers. Sry, no pics. Dog Friendly!. They have leash tie downs at every table! Best view in Morro Bay for an eating establishment in my opinion. - This is an OUTDOOR seating, first come first serve restaurant. BBQ Oysters are awesome. Seared Ahi is another favorite. You can take the fish away and cook it at home if you want, but they are happy to prepare it any way you like, and a great job they do! - Live Entertainment. There is always a seasoned older local playing live music. We appreciate vintage selections, and our man was playing Pink Floyd tunes from Wish You Were Here and Dark Side of the Moon albums, this evening. Amazing! - They close at 6Pm in the Winter. Check their hours. Some days they are not open, based on which season it is. - Bring a jacket, as it might be chilly! Bring a dog, as it is more than welcome! Bring your appetite because you can't find better seafood for this kind of price! And bring an open mind because all types of folks meet up here to cap their day off and it can get interesting sometimes.

All the food was great but don’t get the bread and clam Chowder combo you get less clam chowder and mostly bread. Parking is available but depends on timing

We love Tognazzini's. A light lunch in the deck listening to great music. Petting all the dogs.

They offer great, fresh food. I just still don't understand how a lunch with a dozen oysters, two tiny fish fillets, two deep fried pans, four tiny deep fried squid rings, and two soda cost close to 100$ - still leaving me a bit hungry.especially if they supposedly catch the fish themselves or at least get it from next door.... It's the development in the USA right now, but it has simply nothing to do with value for money.....

Awesome little spot on the bay behind the main restaurant. Ordered at the counter and waited for our name to be called. They had live music and the food was fresh and delicious.

Great vibe and location, right by the ocean and live music too plus dog friendly (they give water bowls for dogs and have leashes tethered to around desks for your hands to be free as you eat!) It was super crowded constantly even at 2PM with long line to order and long waits for food.. Very few vegetarian/vegan options for food but the food was pretty good!

I would have given them a 5-star but...Food was good, albeit a little salty for my taste. Clam chowder too thick and lack flavors. BBQ oysters were the best! We ordered the Seafood Combo and there was enough for the two of us. My complaint is that they have already charged certain percentage of service charge and whatever they added on automatically without telling the customers, and my husband unknowingly added the big tips on top of that. We felt that we were cheated off the meal. Talk about service, what service? You order at the counter, you pick up the food when they call your name, and you clean up after yourselves. Yes, music was great and the atmosphere wonderful with the view of the rock and the sunset. I don't think we will be back. There are plenty of good restaurants that are honest at Morro Bay!

Best, most tender clam strips my wife and I had ever had! The clam chowder bread bowl was excellent in a soft and tasty sourdough bowl. The clam chowder was thick and chunky. Fun atmosphere with live music while watching the wildlife. So glad we listened to our friends and their great recommendation to come here on a sunny summer afternoon!

This is my favorite place to chill, drink a beer, and listen to the Dueces Wild band. Great view of Morro Rock. Love the BBQ Oysters $3 each.
