Same as Harbor Hut... you can't go wrong with whatever you order. The difference being you are not waited on, but simply self-seated in the open air.
The food is outstanding and the atmosphere is what you make it.

I've been going to this place for about 20 years. Love their fish. But I had one bad experience last week when I was on vacation. We placed an $200 order and they gave it to some other customer. But they did work with us to get the order resolved. Plus they apologized and gave us extra items. Well pleased with their customer service.

Came here after a day of fishing for cod, got the clam chowder in a bread bowl and some of their salt water taffy. Was pretty good, the clam chowder had A LOT of celery, even another buddy was commenting about it but it was still good.
Came out fairly quick also and they had a nice seating area towards the water,
Prices weren't too bad either.

The food was delicious and prepared very quickly, despite the little queue at the counter. The view of the bay from the terrace is very nice as well.
The only critique is the fact that the tables outside were pretty dirty.

Wanted to try this place during my stay so my wife and I ordered the fish & chips with the clam chowder bread bowl. The fish tasted so fresh and fried perfectly. The chips (fries) were so good they were good when they turned cold after taking the left overs to go. The clam chowder was pretty tasty, a little different recipe then normal but a nice difference. The bread bowl was amazing. I would definitely visit again.

Excellent food at the pier, and at a reasonable price. We ordered fish and chip special with clam chowder and also a hotdog. All were great, and the hotdog buns came toasted.

This place got me at squid and chips. Tasty foods. Refill on your drink, just ask. Bonus, a free roaming cat in a t-shirt sweater stopped by my table. It smacked my toddler, but fun to see it.

There are ALOT of fish n chips in Morro Bay, but here you will find the BEST!
This walk up window is TRULY the heart and SOUL of the STACKS! NO SHOES? NO SHIRT? NO PROBLEM :)

Perfect place for a quick lunch after going to Morro Bay. Service was fast and food was good. We got fish and fries and fish tacos. The 2 fish tacos were super filling with some veggies and good tortillas.
They have a couple of tables by the harbor, with shade, which was perfect!
