Tabor Road Tavern - Morris Plains - Photo album

Thank you to the manager and the staff for making our daughter's, future son-in-law's birthdays and surprise engagement proposal event and most wonderful experience. The food was delicious, they spoiled us with so many wonderful, unexpected treats - and, the service was absolute top notch. We were
Same group that owns Roots. This place was amazing! Our first time here and we were very happy. Staff is great and very friendly. Waiter Carlos was very polite and knowledgeable of everything we asked. The Wagyu dumplings were amazing. We both tried a fish dish and it was great. Only minor
I could not rave more about the food at tabor road tavern. It’s truly spectacular food. The management is wonderful and the atmosphere is lovely. We’ve had pretty hit and miss experience with servers (we find some servers here fairly inattentive) but I do have to say that it’s nothing to prevent us
Amazing food, knowledgeable and friendly service, and incredible atmosphere! Buffalo chicken meatballs and cheddar jalapeño biscuits for appetizers, followed by Grilled chicken Tabor Road entree salad. The mixed drinks and wine selection was amazing, while the beer menu could have more options. Exc
Loved this place. Food was delicious and the service was amazing. Hugh was our waiter and he was amazing and so knowledgeable about each dish. This place is a must. We got the Braised Short Ribs and Beef Wellington. Desert was freshly made donuts and Coffee Bread Pudding.
We were in the area seeking an enjoyable dining experience. A quick search on Google Maps & we found Tabor Road Tavern. Upon arrival and entering we realized we found a great place, hoping the food matched the uplifting and cozy vibe. We ordered chicken noodle soup, lobster roll and barbeque bacon
Amazing. Absolutely amazing. We have been here many times and the food last night might have been the best. The short ribs were heavenly. The special drink menu while expensive has many interesting options. The atmosphere is warm, inviting and romantic.
Long time favorite for when we don't feel like cooking. Wife is a big fan of their salmon, she believes it's one of the best. Best seating for us is either at the bar or one of the high back comfy booths next to the large fireplace.
We love the Tabor Road Tavern. When you walk in the vibe surrounds you, taking you back in time to when things were relaxed and easygoing. Seating is comfortable and the central fireplace just makes you feel like you're on vacation in an amazing lodge. Service is stellar. Everything on the menu
This is a Great restaurant, even better my son works here he's made his mother and father so proud, if only they'd let him in the kitchen and to the stove. A fantastic Cook..
Really enjoyed dinner here. The decor is so very craftsman/hunting lodge. I had scallops and my son had bbq ribs. Both dishes were perfectly cooked and very tasty. I really liked the biscuits too.
Great cocktails and New American cuisine in a cozy ski lodge style setting. We were there on a busy holiday evening, so parking was tight and there were families with young children, but overall very good experience.
Food was great. I had a ribeye burger - well cooked, well dressed - while my wife had the grilled chicken salad. She wanted the lobster salad, but the server thought they "may be out." Sadly, he was right. Took off one service star because despite being half empty at lunch, it took a good 7 or 8 mi
If you're looking for a white linen tavern with an impressive--and well executed--menu, you won't be disappointed at the Tabor Road Tavern. The ambiance is outstanding! The fireplaces and wood interior create and earthy and romantic atmosphere that will leave you smelling like you've been sitting n
I have been here a few times now, and the food and service were completely on point each time. There are plenty of great wines and local beers available, along with the usual draft selections. The atmosphere was great, and being seated was quick and painless. The only reason why I gave 4 instead of
We went here as my friends like the Drinks in this place. We were last one in the restaurant and the bartender was good. We had the flour less chocolate cake which was really nice and was made of dark chocolate, the ice cream was just complimenting it so well. I had the it was a dream cocktail-it w
Snowstorm but we had to run some errands anyway. Visited one place but it didn't open for another 30 minutes. Consulted the Google for "bars near me" and Tabor Road Tavern was 90 seconds away. Place looks amazing, menus was so delicious looking. It was hard to pick something to eat because it was a
