Mather Lodge - Morrilton - Photo album

Stopped by for lunch after walking the trails. Staff were friendly atmosphere was peaceful not overcrowded. I ordered the hot water cornbread, which would have been great but it was served with honey butter and the bread had bits of chives that threw the taste off...definitely a good pairing. I also
Great meal. Had the Ruben sandwich which includes their in house made 1000 island dressing! Amazing! Delicious! Also had the hot roast beef sandwich. The seasoned fries were great! Wonderful views!
Long wait (an hour). Had to stand within earshot. Food was okay. We went for the memories of my great aunt and uncle who had the little cafe, boats, and horse concessions 60 years ago. Still a great place to visit!
Beautiful view from any table! The staff was super friendly. Our breakfast was delicious 😋 I highly recommend if your in the area.
Very good food and service. I hate there was no longer a buffet. We love going here to eat
Stopped in for a grilled cheese after a late hike, it hit the spot. The lodge has some neat trinkets to look at while you wait as well. Also the views of the valley from the dining area are breathtaking, you can even see it from the bear cave trail!
French fries were ala delicieux for moi! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Add a Reuben and some lime iced water and you have lunch! The total cost was $14 plus tip. That was on the high-end of the menu items.
Burgers and fries were good. Service was wonderful, and the views outstanding. If you go for dinner, get the baked potato side instead of mashed potato. The mashed potato tasted like those boxed ones. Cat Fish and Pork Chops were good, but nothing out of this world.
