La Pizzeria

I thought this place was going to be great. Unfortunately NOT. We tried to call in order . They would not take it over the phone they said they were too busy. So we drove there 30 minutes. Placed an order waited one hour for it to be ready. Drove home. Eatable but far from good. It was sausage with extra cheese. Hardly a piece of sausage on any of the slices. Cheese was scarce also. Also in my opinion it was probably NOT Mozzarella. Finally in my opinion all in all it pretty much sucked. Would never go back. Amazing to me how people around here think something is good when in turn its not.

This was a fantastic pizzeria. We like to try local food while on vacation and we found this place. Don't be turned off by the outside of the place. The pizza was some of the best NY style I have had. We did the margarita and the NY meat one. I certainly recommend this place! 18 inch pizza run $18-$23

Visited for Labor Day weekend. Because of Covid-19 we only do take out. When I approached I asked if I could place an order for take out. The lady said, let me ask the kitchen. She came back and said yes only if its not a big order. We are not really doing take out right now. Let me say there were only 2 tables with people in the restaurant it was only 5pm. Right behind me another guy asked to place a take out order and she told him they are no longer doing take out tonight. I mean you try to support a local restaurant and being Covid-19 you would think they would be thankful you were there. Its a pizza joint and no takeout?? I guess they don't want our take out money. I will not return due to the rudeness of the receptionist and of course no take-out. Too many other local choices out there.

We ordered pepperoni pizza and plain cheese and were pleasantly surprised. Even though we are pizza snobs were not expecting good pizza this far in north Georgia. The sauce was good and the pizza was thin. However after a few bites it gets heavy so I was satisfied with only a few slices. I was disappointed by the dessert. Doesn’t taste home made and when I ask they get it shipped from Atlanta...shame. On the plus side there is free WiFi. Just ask for the code.
