This place is great. The location is perfect and easy parking. There is ample seating inside. The staff are very very sweet and are perfect about checking in to make sure your food is good. The food is delicious. Do you know how rare it is to find fufu? And we have it here in the fargo/moorhead area
When in Fargo, go to Minnesota and eat African/Cuban fusion
Had a very nice lunch here, the fried plantains were excellent, servings were very generous, my server was great, and the vibes cozy and comforting.
I really wish I'd saved room for dessert, I wanted to try the Ghana pancakes.
The food was wonderful. I'm happy to find a restaurant in the F-M area that serves plantains! I definitely want to go back and try more of the menu. The staff was a little quiet and distant, but friendly. Don't be afraid to ask the staff questions - they were more than happy to answer all of mine!
Fabulous food! A little heat and definitely Caribbean flair. Two teenage boys ate the spicy cauliflower appetizer and wanted more 😮 For three of us, 2 drinks, 3 appetizers, and 3 entrees, the bill (with tip) was about $100 - a bit on the pricey side for FM.
Food wasn’t bad bt I ordered the curry chicken and i only received 5 pieces of meat…… and yea… I counted! Not worth $18 sorry.
The fried rice was really good! Really liked the chill atmosphere and great music playing. The food was very good. Be warned, most of the entrees push $20 but it is totally worth it!
Amazing! All of the food on our table was delicious! Our server was attentive and friendly and more than willing to answer questions. We will be back!
I hadn’t had fried yam in such a long time and it didn’t disappoint. It was made fresh! Very nice place. A little pricey though but good.
