Mcdonald's

This mcdonald's is a real challenge. Each shift seems limited to just one employee that really knows what's going on, and that employee isn't always a manager. But, when things are right it's a decent place to eat. Never had anything unappetizing, just some things aren't prepared correctly. For example, a filet o fish is supposed to be on a steamed bun, not toasted, which they do here. And they somehow only get pointy fries. Weird potato shards but they do salt them, thankfully.

Just went in to this location (7-4-22 10:30pm). I had ordered on the app. I had ordered 2 happy meals and 2 slushies. I get in there and the guy at the register told me that the slushie machine was down. I said ok how do I get a refund from the app. He said he had to get the manager. She said it had to be done over the app. I asked her how to do it. She said she didn’t know just that she couldn’t refund it. She then stated well you can have two drinks instead. I said that the drinks were cheaper than the slushies. She said I could have 4 drinks. I told her I didn’t need the drinks that I just needed to know how to get a refund. She said well I don’t know we weren’t trained properly on the app. She then said she could call other managers but they would say the same thing and advised me that her store was getting ready to close. I asked so it’s not that the machine is down but that you guys already cleaned it and don’t want to dirty it again. She stated no that they were completely out of syrup and wouldn’t have a truck until Thursday. I said ok so what are we going to do because there is no obvious button for there was a problem with the order. She said well I can call other managers and ask them but they’ll say the same thing. I asked her to do so. She left to presumably make the call and another worker came up. She asked what was wrong as she could see I was frustrated. I explained the situation and she gave me a funny look and said hold on. Went and made the slushies. The woman who said she was the manager ,who I found out is named Taylor, had lied to my face about not having syrup because she didn’t want to have to clean the machine again.

My entire order was wrong. On the sign next to the drive through Speaker was a listing for a mix 2 for $4. I ordered 2 sausage and egg biscuits and 1 gravy biscuit. I got 2 bacon and egg biscuits and 1 sausage biscuit, no gravy biscuit. The receipt was so faded it couldn't be easily read. To correct the problem I had to go get back in line and argue with the mgr.until I got the gravy biscuit. I didn't notice the rest of the errors until I got home.
