Dairy Queen

I was working in this DQ neck of the woods. I tried the cheese curds, which were good, and a burger, which was mediocre. Another day, all of us got ice cream which was generally good, what you expect from DQ. I gave this 4 stars 🌟 for the service. The staff there were super helpful, patient, and just the most genuinely kind folks I'd seen in a while. I am grateful as I was going through a really touch time.

I hate to write a bad review. But bad service can not be ignored. Took the grandkids to DQ for an ice cream. Walked in and there were 3 employees behind the counter. After standing for a few minutes, no one asked could they take an order. I had to ask. One employee finally stepped up, to other two continued their conversation. No smiles, no thank you, no nothing. And they were not busy. With this kind of service and lack of management, it’s a huge waste to build a new building. Need to get a handle on customer service first.

This is a very known place in Jasper Co.It is also the longest running restaurant in Monticello. You could say it's a big part of the history here. Now that they have installed a third lane on the highway in front of the store it's a lot easier to get in and out of the parking lot. And I think it's the best Daily Queen in the state of Georgia. I have always enjoyed the food here. If my information is helpful please like my review.
