Long John Silver's

I stopped in for lunch today.. and after today's experience, I'm not sure why I don't stop here more often. I've been going to the other fast food fish place, but lately I've noticed that their portions are and their prices are high. It does not appear that Long John silver's has changed their portion size. I had two pieces of fish and a very large serving of coleslaw as well as a side order of fried clams. The clams were the best that I've had in a long long time. They were perfectly cooked and very tasty!!! As a matter of fact, the entire meal was almost worth the price! Every fast food restaurant has had to raise their price, and customers are trying to assess the value. Give Long John's another chance to make you smile!!!

Consistently poor service and food. Lackadaisical attitudes on the part of staff and management. Food cooked to the point of being charred chunks...and annoyed responses when it's returned. One employees boyfriend regularly sleeping in the back booth through his gf's shift... Staff arguing or gossiping .... The one thing you can say about this place is: IT'S ALWAYS BAD!

Waited in drive thru for 20minutes today. Only for them to give us half our order that I paid full price for. While I was sitting at the window, I could tell the reason they cant get their job done, and done correctly, is because they're too busy standing around chitchating, then to even come to window for 20min so I can at least pay for it. Or give me my drink, and tell me sorry for the wait. When I finally did get the order I asked for tater sauce, and guess what, I ordered three meals right. They give me 1 packet of tater sauce. Needless to say, this will be the next place to shut down in Monticello, Ky.
