The Morning Dove Gluten Free Bakery And Cafe

Went there with my hubby, both of us are gluten free, and bought a bunch of items spanning the menu. It was all good! Multigrain bread was excellent. My gluten-eating kids loved the cinnamon rolls. And my son devoured the chicken pot pie and swore it wasn’t gluten free. I tasted the crust and it was legit! I do recommend this spot, particularly for the variety it offers and the quality of goods. It will cost a bit more than regular bakery items, but if you need gluten free, you will forget the cost once you finally get to enjoy the goodies you normally have to pass on.

This is by far the best Gluten-Dairy free product bakery in Monterey! I know the guy, I can eat their products and I sometimes have breakfast over here! IF you're a Gluten-free Lover like I am, I recommend it (I don't care if other people say it's not good or the best -- this is my opinion); I do think, however, they could email back more often and also provide some Gluten-free Doughnuts into the Bakery!

The restaurant was well lit with natural light. I asked some questions about the flours because I have allergies to certain grains. The owner didn’t seem to like that. He was willing to engage and chat about other things though. Like the story of how his store got started. Which was cool and overall he seems like a a very nice guy. He sells Acme Coffee which is THE BEST! I loved the cinnamon roll! I hope this place sticks around and also uses more paleo flours for extra allergy people.

Just stopped in for the first time and was blown away. I saw the 100% Gluten Free sign so was expecting to find a dozen or so dry little offerings. Not the case at all. There was a wide selection of items, many of which were also dairy free! This is great as one of my kids has trouble with both dairy and gluten. We tried the blueberry muffin which, I think, was about $3-$4. It tasted homemade. It was super hearty but very moist which I don't think I've ever had from a store bought muffin. Kids loved it. Looking at the other items on display and the shop itself I had the impression that this shop puts a lot of care into their products. I will definitely be coming back here a lot and telling my friends.
