Ordered a cappuccino and apple turnover--they were nothing extraordinary, but delicious nonetheless. Outdoor seating was plentiful and pleasantly quiet. The staff didn't seem particularly friendly (no smiling or eye contact), but service wasn't bad and the quality of the coffee was great.
I love this place. Very unique atmosphere. The food is phenomenal! Not what you'd expect at a coffee shop/movie theatre. The espresso is consistently good, also. I like sitting on the patio, soaking in the ambience of present Monterey, while contemplating its past and future.
Fun little cafe we found walking around Monterey tucked inside a theater. The boutique style of the cafe caught our attention. Yummy oat milk latte and friendly staff. Some neat swag for sale, too!
A bit whimpy on the lox but overall delicious. Coffee was solid. Pastry selection was also strong.

Best café in Monterey--good coffee and ambience. Not too expensive. Only downside is the uncomfortable, backless chairs upstairs (more like mini-stools, I guess)
Ask for a menu for the salads and sandwiches. The Greenies is a feast of goats cheese, cucumber, dill pickle, broccoli, avocado and lettuce. An incredible combo. Great coffee, too.
