The woman who assigned us our seat upon arrival sat us right by an exit when there were more cozy seats available for 2 people. It just didn't make sense. Having dinner at Esteban restaurant tonight was so perfect for what I needed. A nice relaxing night to eat great Tapas and have a wonderful night out without feeling rushed.

Super cute dining experience. Either inside or outside around a personal fire pit. We sat outside with a fire pit. We ordered tea, hot cocoa and the Champinone coca flatbread. We thought that would just be a starter but it was so filling! We will definitely be eating here again
Overhyped and slightly disappointing. The food is not that impressive or no where near authentic Spanish food. Ambiance is not that welcoming either. If you come here and don’t have that many meals planned, sticking to the local restaurant or seafood might be a good idea.
Add this place to your list while visiting Monterey, CA. We loved each small plate tapas that we ordered. Four plates were the perfect option for two diners. You will not be disappointed.

We had the paella dish La Granja. The chicken and chorizo were both flavorful. The rice tasted like Mexican spanish rice. This is a shareable dish.
Although it was delicious, it's not comparable to the paella you find in Spain.
A variety of dishe selections, tastes great. The service did not match the quality of the restaurant. I had to call for a water refill twice, and we waited over five minutes to get the water the second time.
If you have never had paella before this is the place to fix that.
Everything on the menu we tried was delicious. I recommend the Ad Astra bread to start and some vegetable appetizers. Enjoy some drinks, like sangria, while you and your friends wait for the main dish. Each paella takes around 45 mi

Really happy we decided to check this place out. The food was absolutely fantastic and made us feel like we were back in Madrid or Barcelona. Service was super friendly, if just a little bit slow to check in on you. But overall, this was a great dining experience.
Great food. Very delicious. We had the crispy pulpo and the El Rancho Paella. The food was really good. The octopus was expertly seared and seemed really fresh. Included with the appetizer was very tasty chorizo bits and fried yuka. The Paella was done very well and we both enjoyed it together. T
