Shan Chinese Buffet

A good Chinese buffet place. It's not big but they have a good selection including my favorite, coconut shrimp. At 7:00PM everything was hot and fresh. Staff was attentive. A lot of truckers here because they have truck parking and they are also about a 2 minute walk from the Pilot. I'd eat here again if I was passing through.

My brother and I went in this Dilapidated filthy EstablishmentAbout 7 p.m.Where all the food had looked like it had been Sitting on The steam table all day long.Stepped outside to grab my telephone off my Touring Harley-Davidson and the cook pulled so close to my motorcycle I had a difficult time mounting it and couldn't even get in the bags.Mind you I do have a handicap plate but the is No visible handicapped parking so I pulled close to the front door. Explained my situation with their response "was there any damage "?if not don't complain. Explained my situation again to be cussed and threatened. The cook finally came out and threatened to hit my bother with the big pan he was holding. They wanted to respond to us with Violence. If the cook would have hit my bother with that pan I was well prepared to defend the both of us ,that cook would have shot. There was a small handful in the restaurant who could have been witnesses at trial. So that's how they treat a handicap customer going though cancer treatment. Then again the way the place looked(GROSS),they would have no problem taken your money and giving you a food borne illness. Your just traveling through,the won't see you again. Go 1 exit toward Nashville, there's much cleaner,better restaurants off that exit. You've been Warned!!!!!

I've definitely had better chinses buffets. The meat was really chewy and the rice had no flavor. My husband got the teriyaki chicken on a stick and he said that was the best thing he had on his plate. It was also $35 before the tip and we came during lunch time. We both only even had one small plate because the food was below average.
