One of my favorite places!! I live in the valley but whenever I head this way..Ihave to stop by! Other than the best selection of teas, their sandwiches and service are phenomenal!
I can't say it enough - Loose Teas is such a great place. Wonderful teas, yummy food, and the best staff of ANY of the local restaurants. They take such pride in their shop and all they have to offer. I love walking in and seeing a line of customers! And they've never steered me wrong with any of their recommendations.
I think this is the best tea I have ever taste before. It make me feel relax and good for my study and work concentration. I can taste various flavors of tea. It's inexpensive and tasty. Don't miss it if u pass by :)
You can get boba drinks with soymilk! The drinks are made to order so they're super fresh. Friendly staff!

I have frequented this business for over a year now and have to give them 5 stars, more if I could. The owners are very kind, helpful, patient and willing to answer any questions you may have. They have a huge selection of teas and other drinks to choose from and their food is equally as delicious. They are willing to go the extra mile for their customers and that's a rare find these days. I highly recommend stopping by and having a cup of tea and more.
Located in the shopping mall in Monrovia with a Trader Joe's, Kohl's, a Chili's, and Panera, the Loose Teas has an excellent variety of teas to buy in bulk. They make fresh brewed teas to drink on the premises along with very good, generously filled sandwiches or salads. If you like London Fog they make the best we've had.
Can I just say, "LOVE THIS PLACE!" The drink selection is extensive and sweetener, milk type and ice can all be adjusted as the attentive owners always ask how we prefer our tea, or coffee even. The BEST CHAI I have tasted too!! They have a large selection of loose teas for purchase and the owners knowledge of tea is impressive! I have not bought tea bags from the market in over 3 years since coming here. Their shop has a nice selection of tea canisters, steepers, mugs and tea pots too in case you need an item or are looking for a gift.

The Loose Teas Cafe is such a great spot here in Southern California. Not many tea cafes that do it like they do. Simple and welcoming. Enter and you're greeted by the tea wall sectioned by Black, Green, Mate, White, Herbal, and Rooibos. Right above it a directory of how to go about placing your order, real simple after your first time here. A big screen tv captures your attention while you wait for the tea to brew because here your tea isn't sitting out for minutes or hours ready to be poured, oh no. Here, they brew it on the spot, no fancy-shmancy devices or appliances, the good old fashioned way, let it steep and brew and it's worth the wait because they know how to brew and care for tea to produce the notes of the tea consistently. Hot or cold I have enjoyed all the teas I have drank here. Having a place like this helps me transition from coffee to tea a lot easier and in a simple, cost-effective way (since they sell all the teas in bulk as well). Oh, and don't forget to look at all their mugs and kettles, you might find a nice gift for that tea lover in your life.
Great place. Friendly and helpful staff. Helped me out with picking out a tea flavor for me. Price was decent too. Very clean place. You can buy tea plants and tea sets as well. I got a 4oz English tea leaves. They have bigger sizes as well.
So cute! My husband and I enjoyed this small and cozy tea place. 🙌 The Matchacchino is perfect! The Chicken Provolone panini is simple but with flavor. The staff encouraged us to try their free samples of the seasonal loose teas and very helpful with what was included in menu items. Thank you!
One of the finest tea shops in the L.A. area and the best i have been to in the San Gabriel valley. It is a part of the tea room directory as one of the top 5% rated tea shops. The quality of the tea at this store is much better then you will fined at the more well know chains where teas can be purchased. Instead of focusing on Random odd flavors that many shops do, they focus on balanced flavors and highest quality ingredients of classic teas. They also have excellent sandwiches for those looking to get some food as well. I cannot recommend this place more highly to tea lovers.
I'm always loving the iced teas I order here. Their sandwiches are really nice for lunch, too. The service is friendly and quick. It's a small business and not a chain, so I tend to come here more often than other boba shops.
