A Google search for LuMar will not have any hits with the meaning of this small restaurant in Old Town Monrovia. For that information, you will have to talk to the cafe's owner, Dragica Grabovac, who named it after her two children Lucia and Mario.
I like the design and painting on the wall. There was a stand and map on the table telling me about the city Split and Croatia. Food was great. It was a wonderful brunch.
Quaint and quirky. Excellent service and food, we came with friends and were impressed. Fantastic place to relax and have a great meal. Love it.
This cafe is a jewel on a side street in Monrovia. The Croatian food was absolutely delicious; the service was exceptional. You must save room for the amazing dessert crepes.

I highly recommend the Lamb Shank entree. So tender & flavorful! the meat was falling off the bone and complimented very well with the veggies and mash potatoes.
