We came for lunch. We were the only table seated during our stay (noon to 1:30pm). The waitress was very pleasant and tried her best but seemed inadequately trained. The restaurant was clean and well appointed. The owners clearly spent alot to open the doors. The food (at lunch) was very poor. Dinner may be prepared by a cook with experience and training. The lunch items were possibly prepared by one of the other waitresses. The salmon (photo included) was baked and then covered in honey. No other seasonings ($15.99 and quite small with two sides). The chicken tenders were over cooked and a grilled chicken breast appeared to have been cut into 6 or 7 times to ensure it was cooked all the way through and served with minute rice. I would recommend the owners not open their doors if their aren't sufficient customers to have a trained cook on duty. Again, the dinner here may be excellent but this restaurant should not be open for lunch.

Kaity's is without question one of the undeniable hidden gems in Monroe! The first time I went there I absolutely loved the atmosphere, decorations, the open space, the old brick walls ... it just felt like a cool place. I have been many times with my friends and family and I have nothing bad to say about this place! The food is excellent. Catfish - out of this world. The service is always attentive, polite and pleasant. It's such a cool place with such an extensive menu!! On Friday and Saturday nights they do all you can eat crab legs, and wow are they good. If you haven't given this place a try, definitely check it out. It's never failed to be an awesome experience!

Service was not good. My Husband received his food first. Mine arrived 10 minutes later. I ordered shrimp scampi. It taste like they cooked the pasta added some butter and small shrimp and called it a day. I could have made a better scampi and I don't even know how. Needless to say we will not be going back. The only reason I gave it 2 stars because my husband said his grouper was pretty good.

Eaten here multiple times! The service was terrific and the food made me smile and melt at how wonderful it was! I always saw smiles! The manager came out and would talk with people, which shows how people friendly this place is! The time of food arrival has gotten better after eating multiple times here, and my experience has only grown better. The catfish is large portions and very well done! Shrimp and Grits will melt in your mouth and the fried green tomatoes or spinich dip are my favorite appetizers! If you get a chance to eat here, you wont regret it!

Servers weren't that well trained. We sat down they asked for our drink orders and was told they did not have Coke only had Coke zero. Another server came over and said they had Coke, the other server didn't know what she talking about, according to our new server. Sat there for an hour waiting for food, meanwhile people that came in after us were getting their food quickly. My daughter ordered a steak, it came out overcooked and had grease on it. She had to scrape the grease off and ate about half of it. The server took back to the kitchen, she didn't want it re cooked just wanted them to know it was burnt and was loaded with grease. After a few minutes the owner came out and said what are taking about, she tried to say that was the seasoning they used. She was calling my daughter a liar. My wife ordered the all u can eat crab legs, and when she asked for another serving, she never got them. We just asked for the check that is when the owner tried to say how can they fix it. First off u called my daughter a liar then u tried to go off on my wife and that's not something u do to someone who is bi-polar. I will never be back. Should have known not to eat there, it's bad when they cater to one table over the other five tables that were in there. Just because the table had seven people and four of them ordered the all u can eat crab legs, they were more worried catering to that one table and f**k anyone else.. Will not recommend this to anyone, don't know how they are still open. Oh yeah, our server told us before we left, that is not the first time the owner has done that, she does that all the time.

We had read all the great reviews and had been looking forward to trying Kaity's but it was a real let down. The servers were flying around the dining room working hard but service was still very slow. When the food finally arrived we were again disappointed. The crabs legs were way over cooked, the grilled shrimp arrived at the table and it was room temperature, and the fries were limp and soggy. No one in our party was very satisfied with the quality.
