Retired. Mina's restuarant in new windsor,n.y. is very cute and clean, service for us was very friendly and adequately attentive. the food was tasteful but lacked the " wow" factor. thei r breaded steak and steak with onions was extremely thin and tough to chew. based on the appearance of this restaurant, and our eating out experience, one would expect a higher quality cut of meat even if the price for this plate was a little higher. also, the cuban black beans lacked the authentic cuban flavor, i.e. cumin , olive oil, onions, etc. it was also too watery. we plan to return and truly hope these observations are viewed as constructive comments.
Mina's kitchen. Been eating there since they were in the original Monroe location and have always loved the food and the price is right! They are very busy these days and so the service may be a little slow, but I attribute that to growing pains. It's worth waiting for!
Just like home. I love this place. I come here all the time when I am in the mood for good Spanish food. It's like eating my grandmother's home cooking back in the Dominican Republic. I am very picky when it comes to Dominican food and this place got it right.
Awesome food! Cuban sandwich and lemon chicken are my favorites. Great people and fair prices.

Awesome. The food is so tasty and really cheap. I really like the Cuban sandwich, chipolte chicken and Pernil Mufungo. Family of 4 can really eat for $25.
Food was AMAZING!!!!! EVERYTHING WAS GRRRREAT.... I Suggest for you to try there Pernil (Pulled Pork) y El Arroz Con Gandules (Rice with Pigeon Peas... My Grandchildren loved there Chicken... And OMG the Fried Cheese Que RiRRRICO.. I also order there Platter that has so Much Great food for you to try and everything Perfectly Made..
Love the pernil and mofungo! I’ve ordered many times and it’s delicious, but had an issue with an order once. I contacted the restaurant to let them know and the owner/manager promptly responded, so appreciative that I brought it to their attention that he remedied it right away! Great food and wonderful customer service! Definitely recommend!
Found this hidden treasure through google search. Our server was Samantha. Such a sweetheart and very attentive. I loved how she is able to memorize all the orders without using a pad! The food was delicious! Great portions! Clean ambient and great music in the background!! You must try the desserts!! Flan de coco, regular flan, cheesecake. Our food was Great! Ceviche de camarones, arroz con gandules con pollo al horno. Habichuelas guisada, tostones, bacalaito con arroz Blanco! All the plates were delicious! I highly recommend this place. Again it's definitely a hidden treasure in Monroe, NY. Will definitely come back!
