Mac's Fish and Chicken is easily the Best Place to get Fried Fish and other southern foods in Monroe! Perhaps Union County? Affordable, Good Hospitality and Delicious Orders. Always have been very impressed with the way that they do things. I only wish they were open a bit longer on some days!

Absolutely love Mac's. Good southern fried food. Make sure you get the Mac & Cheese or the fried shrimp. And save room for dessert, because they make some of the best cake and pie, and Buckeyes (peanut butter balls) that I've ever had! Just make sure you get here quickly for lunch or you'll miss out!

Brings me back to my childhood days when the volunteer fire department used to do fish fries on Saturdays. Good food and friendly staff just how it was when I was growing up here. Got the flounder plate and pineapple cake.

The food smells so good it can make your mouth water even wearing a mask. And it tastes just as good. I had the flounder sandwich. Absolutely fantastic. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and great food.

Wooow!!! This place is quite amazing. Homemade mac and cheese...so good it doesn't need any salt & pepper. So very creamy...I even got a nice gooey blob of stretchy cheese. Fabulous flounder...tender and a slight crunch to the outside edge. Perfection!! My sweetheart server asked me so politely if I was interested in some dessert. My answer is...you better run and get some of their homemade pumpkin roll... delicately sweet & sticky, very yummmm!! This hidden gem is in Monroe. Woow!
