My friend & I had lunch twice @ this location. Both times we were greeted with a hearty “Hello”! by the upbeat and friendly host/server. He always tells us to “sit anywhere”!
For an appetizer, we order the Shrimp Dumplings ($6.95) or ($7.95) or ($8.95). It’s priced @ one of those 🤣
I selected the lunch size Teriyaki Chicken , accompanied with vegetables and Fried Rice ($8.95).
My friend ordered the Hibachi Chicken ($9.95). Both our meals were *Tasty*!
Service hasn’t disappointed us yet. The server was on spot and still outgoing.
This is one of our favorite restaurants in the MoCo area.

I got hibachi shrimp, steak, & chicken. The other person in my party got the Tuna rolls and said they were fantastic. Food was delicious. A lot of food for your money. The booths were the largest I have ever seen. Lots of room. Quite and low lights. Service was great. I will definitely be going back & recommend it to everyone.
Very good food.. I was unsure about the location and I gave it a chance anyway and I'm glad I did. The sushi is delicious
The GMC roll was great as always! Called ahead for to-go service and it was ready within the given time-frame. Very nice people.
Clean😍, professional, nice staff, the food was excellent. I'm kind of new to the area (almost 1 year here) and have been so disappointed and/or grossed out by the other restaurant options for Japanese cuisine (especially Mr hibachi).
After discovering KJS, I'll never eat at any of the other Japanese restaurants in Moncks Corner again. Hands down the best in town. We were so pleased with everything. The gyoza was awesome and so were the spring rolls. All of the sushi was delicious and well-made.

My absolute FAVORITE spot in Moncks Corner!! The food is delicious, fresh and fast!! Can't wait until they re-open!!!
Our waitress Jessica was sooooo friendly and kind! The owner was also so kid friendly and sweet! The place looks rough BUT the food and service were great. The dressings the white sauce , everything is homemade. Very clean also.
I've been a few times and I really enjoyed the food and the staff was super sweet
Great sushi, real Japanese beer, and a variety of other Japanese food s on the menu. A great family owned restaurant.
