Taqueria San Jose - Modesto - Photo album

This used to be my ALL TIME FAVORITE Taqueria. USED TO BE being the key point of that last sentence. I asked the young man who took my order for a "Burnt" quesadilla, and then went on to explain that I really mean burnt. Not "Extra Crispy" bc there isn't a Taqueria Cook that takes that for what i
I ordered an adobada burrito and honestly, the meat was disappointing I could see char on the meat and there was no flavor. My friend got carne asada tacos and had no real complaints. I'll likely give them one more try. The staff was friendly. Wait time altogether was about 10 minutes prior to noon
This place is so good I've been going to them since 2002 they got the best burritos, menudo, quesadillas, and some big tacos amd much more. The salsa bar is awesome. They have 2 location in Modesto Ca one on Coffee rd and the other one , on Prescott rd and one in Riverbank CA. good prices too.

The refried beans aren't just mashed, extra care goes into artfully seasoning them, elevating this pantry staple to another level. The masa in the chicken tamales is moist, seasoned; the sau
